"I dunno Mr., my mommy hurt me and i ran away" she burst into sobs
Avery rubbed her back and gave a soothing whisper "Shh, it okay kiddo. Im Avery, im going to bring you to my house and get you patched up. that okay?"

Alena, who had been tenses, softens, looking at the kid.

"Okay Mr. Avery" she gulped
"Kiddo where does it hurt?" He asks her, scooping her up in his arms.

Jordan loomed up behind Avery ominously. (He is actually really good with kids but… He had no idea what was going on)

Avery looked over his shoulder and glared at Jordan. "Your going to scare her." he starts to unfurl his wings "Okay Kiddo, the fastest way is to fly. You need to hold on to me"

"It's not the safest though." Jordan falls back to the ground

Alena nods, agreeing with Jordan. "We should just walk…be careful…"

Jordan gasps dramatically, "Someone agrees with me?!"

Alena shoots a glare to him. "Still not over you splashing me…but we need to be careful…" She turns back to the child, her voice soft. "What's your name sweetie…?"

Jordan snarls and bends down, "What's your name kid?"

"My names Amelia" she sniffled and Avery adjusted his hold on her legs

Alena bristles, but gently takes the kid from Avery's grasp, holding her gently. She smiles at the kid. She always seemed mad, but she was actually a softie.

Jordan tuts and looks down, mumbling to himself, "I always scare them… I dont mean to be scary…" He turns quickly and slithers away from them

Alena pauses. "Jordan!"

"I will go after him, you make sure Amelia gets back to the house. The bandages are in the closet." he instructs, running after the Nagi

Alena nods, looking back at Amelia, walking carefully to Avery's house. "So…what happened little one…?"

" My mummy hurt me, she said i was a useless hybrid. So i ran away, i got lost"

Alena pauses, tilting her head ever so slightly. "What kind of hybrid baby…?"

(Can she be similar to a cat…? Just asking)

"Imma Bengal Tiger! But mama said i was just a helpless kitten"

Alena smiles ever so slightly. "Kitten…your not helpless. I'll raise you kitten…I'm a Panther…"

"Whats your name miss?"

"My names Alena little one…"

"Im Amelia! my friends call me Ams!"

"Hello Ams!"

They arive at the house and walk inside

Alena sets Ams on the counter. "Stay here ok…?"

"Okay"

Alena smiles softly, as she searches for the bandages.

Jordan climbed up to the cave and dove through the small opening then curls up where it opened up to a cavern.

Avry followed hiim into the cave, "Jordan, i diddnt mean to be mean. will you forgive me?" he asks softly
