Good point, perspective is key. You might not say they are physically attractive, but you can agree everyone is their own kind of beautiful.

okay I suppose that everyone is their own kind of beautiful for lack of being pessimistic but also I could tell you all about how the brain perceives beauty scientifically.

There's this thing that we call familiarity and things are better to you when you're familiar with them. If you've heard a song once before, you tend to like it more the next time you hear it which we call "growing on you". The same thing happens with people so like if you don't like the way someone looks, the more you see them, the more their looks would "grow on you" and your brain finds them more beautiful due to a sense of familiarity.

The part of the brain mainly responsible for this is the same part that controls more negative emotions.

So when you don't like someone, or you're mad, you tend to think things are less beautiful or that the person you may be mad at is uglier.

I had a fight when the safe harbor people came in and talked to the class, they said that there are "no such thing as negative emotions, it's simply how you react". Sure I guess that's uplifting but if that was true there wouldn't be a part of the brain devoted for negative feels, right?

Non sto bene con lo spagnolo ma è molto simile all italiano……..

Also I'm going to post daily videos on here because… stop me I dare you.

@ShadeStar

Yeah, and my Spanish skills have gone down the drain. I'm just starting up my fifth year Spanish class, and the last time I had a Spanish class was like a year ago.

Por que Darren? Por que?

Porque….aaaaa….. no se…. because I can.

@ravens

Si yo hablo espanol. Pero no comprendo italiano.

I speak both! I'm in Spanish immersion and also my mom grew up partly in Italy so I know some Italian. My knowing Spanish helps too, as they're so similar.

I should probably clarify that I don't speak Italian as well as I can read it. Come to think of it, my relationship with French is the same.
