(And Yes Jacks. We know you aren’t at school)
(Haha)
(Same, but I also have a study hall. But it means I get lunch like 40 minutes earlier.)
"Yeah that's probably a good idea." She chuckled, balancing on the support until she reached the end of the glass, jumping down lightly onto the solid roof.
The sun had warmed that part of the roof so Cooper laid on it happily. “Come sit!”
"Okay, okay, no need to push." She giggled, sitting down gently with her legs to the side so her dress wouldn't be blowing everywhere.
“I have a fear that you won’t sit down next to me,” he laughed. “I have to push,”
"And if I didn't?" She teased.
“Sit next to me? I’d be sad because it seems irrational to sit anywhere else so I’d just think that you hated me.”
"Awww how sad." She gently wrapped him in a hug. "You poor thing."
He wrapped an arm around her, “Yeah I’m really deprived,”
"Deprived of what? An ego boost?" She giggled.
“Ouch but yes,” he chuckled and rested his head on her shoulder. “Is your man coming or skipping out on all the fun?”
"He said he'd be right up." She shrugged.
“Something just seemed off with him, I dunno. But he said he was fine,”
She scoffed lightly. "That's what he always says."
"He probably just doesn't want you to worry. By now you'd think he would know that saying he's fine only makes you worry more and not knowing makes you feel like you're at fault,"
"Yeah exactly! I forgot how much you understand my thinking."
"Well, great minds think alike and stuff," he smiled up at her.
"I guess you could say that." She smiled a little.
"So you must have a thing for blue eyes. You've never really been with a guy other than those with blue eyes…"
"What can I say? They're captivating."
“Aww thanks. I mean, I personally prefer green eyes, I knew this girl once who had the most beautiful green eyes I had ever seen,”
"Oh really? What was she like?" She played this game with everyone, it was fun.
"She was beautiful and extremely smart, way smarter than me and just to look at her made me happy," he winked and looked back at the sky.
She rolled her eyes with a smile, looking back out at the sunset. "It's so pretty."
"I know, I love watching the sunset to much! It's always different but no matter where you are it's always the same sky… If that makes sense to you…"
"I get it. It's like, the world can take everything from me but the one thing that stays the same is the sunset."
"Exactly and because it's a little bit different every day… it's always cool to see,"
