Sky let her Macha wipe her tears away. "But I haven't lied. I don't know how to start.." She said.

“Make an apology, talk to him quietly, gently.”, she counseled, bringing out a chocolate bar and offering it to her stricken friend.

Dani gently rapped her arms around her distressed friend.

Hi! Macha needs Sabine in the other rp!)

Skylar sighed. "Ok." She took the chocolate bar gently and broke it into thirds. She handed one third of the bar to each of her friends and bit into the last bit.

Macha offered the piece back to her, her heart aching for her friend.

Peter wheezed quietly into his little brother's shoulder, feeling much better releasing his tears.

"Take your piece, Mach." Skylar insisted, waving it away.

Dani sighed. "Y'all are going to be the death of me someday."

Zander was still laying on the floor, but decided to get up. He looked around before deciding to go to the kitchen, and grabbing a water bottle.

"Are you okay now?" Ellis asked his brother.

"Yeah.." he rasped back drowsily.

Skylar gave Dani a look. "Really?" she asked dejectedly. She looked to Macha for comfort."What time is it?" She asked.

“About one in the afternoon.”

Peter began to gradually sink off into a doze, his very brief crying fit subsided now to rest.

Skylar sighed. "Of course. I'm Going to take a nap." She said, scrambling under the covers and resting her head on the pillow. "Thank you, Macha. And Dani. You guys are really great friends." She said, her eyes already closing slightly.

Dani smiled. "Of course Sky. Get some rest." Then she walked back out to Zander.

Ellis pushed his brother back against his pillows, and curled up to go to sleep too when the cartoons became boring.

Zander looked in on Mackenzie and found her still sleeping on the couch. He left her and ran into Dani on his way back. "Is everything okay over there?"

Dani sighed. "Yeah. Skylar's just having a bad day. You have no idea how much I want to make her see that she's not a bad person and that she is loved." She rubbed her temples.

"I not sure how I can be much help there, I don't really know her, but if you say so, then she must be." Zander responded, drinking a little water before setting the bottle down.

Ellis woke up in a dream. Sunlight kissed his round freckled face, pinprickling his cheeks and telling him to wake up. Sour ocean salt air dried out his nose, but he loved it. It was the scent of freedom.

Skylar tossed and turned, dream after dream flooding her mind. The first: Peter was screaming, burning to death in a fire in the hospital bed, but everytime she tried to run, her leg would get another scar and eventually she couldn't run anymore. She died from the pain, and entered another dream, this one where Macha and Dani hated her and tried to get her killed in every way possible. She screamed, cried, pleaded with them, but they were cruel and vicious. Like animals. The third was of Jean. Of course. Lately she always dreamed about her. But this one, they were just sitting in a white room doing nothing. Jean stared at her in disappointment. All of a sudden,She walked over and slapped her, Skylar waking up for real this time. She sat up in bed and sighed. she probably hadn't been sleeping for long. She rolled over and stayed awake on her side for a while, thinking about the events of today.

Ellis pushed himself up to his feet, soles sinking into the hot grains of pearly sand. He spread his wings, letting his black glossy feathers be teased by the ocean breeze. He had to squint towards the azure expanse of open sea— the sun reflected in scintillating glitters, crowning every wave crest.
