Ty went through her contacts and anger surged through him when he saw her dad in her contacts. "Here we go." Ty pressed Blues name and the phone began to ring.

Blue’s eyes followed Vash out the door, then Blue rested back on the bed to give a break for his bruised body. It didn’t matter too much, but it was a nice rest. He hoped Vash would be okay. He wondered if this was normal for Joe, if she always had to deal with him like this… Blue frowned, closing his eyes.

Vash put a hand on Joe's shoulder hoping he'd stop spacing out, "you need to get to sleep." She tugged of his arm making him sit on the couch, "now stay." She hissed out and ran back up stairs. "Sorry about that he's really drunk." She sighed and sat back down next to Blue.

“Why? Is he normally like this?” Blue asked with worry etching his feature. He turned on his side to face Vash better, studying her face in case Joe had hit her. Blue didn’t see any bruises forming yet…

"Ha I wish he was. He's defently mire mellow." Vash flopped back so she was laying down and sighed, "though in the mornings he's really angry and hung over." She turned her head to face him. "I'm glad you're hear." She whispered giving a smile.

“I’m glad you’re here too,” Blue whispered, then crawled over to her and kissed her. It started out soft, then became a crescendo as he deepened the kiss. She was so beautiful… He cupped her cheek with his hand, smiling into the kiss.

"I love you to freaking much." Vash said between kisses. She hoped they wouldn't put him in the system. Hoped that they wouldn't be pulled apart. Hoped that time could freeze and they could just stay there together forever. Everything was so perfect.

Blue scooted even closer, knocking his pile of cards over as he angled his head to deepen to kiss. He ran his hand to the back of Vash’s neck, drawing small circles with his thumb on it. She was perfect. She was his other half. And he couldn’t give that up, he wanted to be with her for the rest of his life.

"I win." Vash mumbled referring to the card game that they never started. She looped a hand behind Blue, "I want to spend the rest of my life with you." She said smiling. She'd always want to be with Blue forever. With out him she'd feel empty. Like only a half. But with him. Everything seemed better. Hole. More vibrant.

“I was just thinking the same thing…” Blue murmured onto Vash’s lips, then rolled to pulled Vash above him, “I want to marry you when I get older…” He said lazily, still doodling little circles with his thumb on Vash’s skin. She was perfect…

Vash l eanded down to peck Blue on the cheek. "With our luck I'm surprised Joe hasn't come baraling threw those doors yet." She laughed quietly to herself laying her head down on Blues chest. "This doesn't hurt does it?" She asked worried that she'd hurt on of his bruises.

“It’s fine,” Blue lied, but in some aspects it was true. It made him feel better when he held her so close to him like this, which definitely outweighed the physical pain. Blue kissed her, eyes fluttering closed again.

Blue was in the middle of kissing Vash when his phone rang. He groaned then reluctantly sat up so he could answer the phone. It was Kate. Blue gave an apologetic look to Vash as he asked into the device, “Hello?”

"Hey, Blue it's Ty." Blue sounded different on the phone, his voice was deeper. "I was wondering if you and Vash would like to go on a double date with me and Kate?"

“Hmm? Oh, I think that’d be cool,” Blue responded, then looked to Vash, “What do you think of a double date with Ty and Kate?” They’d probably want it on a different day than when Vash was meeting her mother…

"Sounds fun." Vash said "what day and when?" She thought a double date sounded fun, though of course she'd probably be awkward at first considering she didn't know them very well.

"Okay, when is good for you guys?" Ty could do it when whenever, it was up to Vash and Blue. *Kate sure is taking a long time in the bathroom.

Kate quickly washed her hands and walked out and back to Ty. She saw he was still on the phone. She gave him a questionative thumbs up, hoping that they had said yes.

Ty gave her a thumbs up. Moving the phone away a bit he patted the spot next to him. "Were trying to figure out when to go."

She walked over and sat down next to him. "Okay." She thought about anything that might prevent them from going. "Really anytime is good."

“What day do you think, Vash?” Blue moved the phone in between them so Vash could answer too. A double date would be nice… Blue would be able to catch up with his friends and everything.

"I think we're free after school tomorrow?" Vash looked to Blue so he could confirm it.

Blue smiled and spoke into the phone, “How does tomorrow after school sound?” Hopefully his bruises would be at least a little better by then. Hopefully it wouldn’t be somewhere too formal, he didn’t have a suit or anything like that…

"Sounds good. Do you want to decide where to go tomorrow when we are all together?" Ty looked over at Kate and mouthed that they are going after school tomorrow. He was honestly kind of excited.

“Uh, sure. That sounds good. We can meet by the flag pole?” Blue asked, wrapping an arm around Vash’s waist and pulling her closer. This would be fun. It would be nice to take Vash on a date.

"Cool, I'll see you two tomorrow. Bye." Ty hung up the phone and handed back to Kate. "We are meeting at the flag pole tomorrow after school." Ty pulled Kate closer and laid his head on her shoulder.

"Okay, sounds fun." She took her phone back and then wrapped her arms around his. She gently laid her head on top of his.

Ty made circles on the back of her hand. "You must be excited to see Blue, I know you two were friends when he first came to school." Ty didn't know him all that well, but Blue did see him in a bad state, so he wasn't uncomfortable around him.

"I really am." She thought back to when she first met Blue and closed her eyes. "Yeah…" Her voice trailed off as memories flooded her head. The sticky note. Lunch.
