Alena spots Jordan, then looks at the height from the tree to the ground. She figured she was fine and jumped, landing in front of him. "Hey…"
Jordan starts then groans, rolling his eyes, "WHy can't I just one second of silence… Peace…"
Once Avery had walked very far into the forest, he began to dive back into the memories of his brother why couldn't you have come with me? he thinks staring into the distance
Alena smiles slightly. "Must be better out here than in the zoo though…"
"Right. I have no idea how long I was there though."
Alena pauses to think. "I know how you feel…"
Jordan nods. His eyes close again and his entire body relaxes
Tao sighed in relief and dipped below the water. He curled up so he could fully fit into the tub. His legs morphed into a tail, his pants ripped where they connected. His fins grew and he made a fishy face before coming up, splashing Kelton's face with water.
Kelton chuckled and wiped the water off of his face, just watching the fish.
(howdy, I'm kinda babysitting today, so I won't be on much)
Marcus curls his pants legs up and sticks his feet into the pond. "They didn't, like..hurt you or anything, did they?" He asks, looking over at Jordan.
"That's the thing. I dont know. All I remember is a human jumping out at me with a gun sort of thing then a sharp pain in my snake part's spine. Next thing I knew I was being dumped into that enclosure. Two weeks later. I know that because there was an announcement board right infront where I could read it."
Marcus nods, looking down at the water. "I'm sorry they just..took you like that." He mumbled.
Avery walks out of the forest and grabs a bucket from the house. he walks to the lake and fills up the bucket with water.

Alena nods, sitting down. "I understand…I was in a zoo as well…"
Jordan's thermal sight eyes open again and he stares out across the lake. He sits up, spraying sand from his chest and stomach, and curls over to the spot the tranquilizer had been, "Yep. The only pain was here." He touches the spot.
Alena nods again, her tail swishing behind her.

Tao crossed his arms and set them on the side of the tub, resting his head on those. His tail swished around, splashing bits of water on the floor, "Thanks," Tao smiled.
Kelton smiled slightly, "You're welcome."
Layla sat down next to the pool and waited patiently, quietly thinking.
Alena stays sitting next to Jordan, moving a thin finger through the water.
Marcus looks up at Alena, watching the water ripple. "Hey, um, quick question: is your dislike for water because you're a feline?" He asks.
Alena looks over at Marcus and nods. "Slightly…" Alena watches the ripple her finger makes as it slices through the water. "Also because I was raised to hate water…" She pauses to think. "Unless it was a shower of course…"
"Raised to hate water? Why in the world?" Marcus gives her a curious look as he crosses his ankles.
"I'm a feline…belong to the cat family…that's how my parents raised me…that…that's why I don't trust water…"
Marcus nods. "Soo..you can't swim, then?"
Alena pauses, thinking. "I'm sure I can…but I don't remember…like I said…I was always taught water was dangerous…" She turned to Marcus. "Sorry…"
"T-there's no need to apologize. I get it, being raised a certain way." He furrows his brow and sticks his hand in the pond, his focus slowly going more to the water than the conversation. "But, like, why do your parents not trust water? Is it because that's how they were raised?"
Alena's tongue flicks out to wet her lips, then shakes her head. "No…both my parents…their parents died when they were young. They both learned not to trust the world…and they taught me that…"
Marcus flinches at Alena's words, and glances at her. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to..bring that up." He mumbles. He looks over at Jordan, tilting his head a bit and ignoring the dinging coming from his pocket. "Jordan, what about you? A-any family?"
Alena shrugs, looking back down at the water as she cautiously let her feet into the water. "It's fine…" She whispers, mostly to herself.
