Alena jumps down in front of them

Kelton took a step backwards in surprise. "You don't believe us, do you?"

Alena pauses. "I never said that…"

"I'm just guessing." Kelton said.

Alena tilts her head. "Your hybrids."

"One point for guessing correctly." Kelton said sarcastically.

Jordan raises up, impressively. He snarls and his fangs flash in the light again

Marcus takes a step away from Jordan, eyeing him cautiously and reaching up to pat his arm comfortingly.

Tao looked up at the hybrid. He hadn’t seen a snake before, but he was pretty sure they weren’t supposed to be that big, “Hey, May I talk now?” Tao asked Kelton.

Jordan jumps and shrieks harshly at the contact, quite different then what he was doing a second before

Marcus gasps and backs away, putting his hands up in defense. "S-sorry! I'm sorry!"

Jordan had a hand to his heart, "Dont do that! You scared the crap out of me!"

"I'm sorry, I-I didn't mean to." Marcus pulled his shoulders up and rung his hand together nervously, hoping he hadn't angered the nagi.

Jordan shakes his head, his whole deminer had broken and he didnt as intimidating now.

Alena hisses.

Tao looked up at the hybrid. He hadn’t seen a snake before, but he was pretty sure they weren’t supposed to be that big, “Hey, May I talk now?” Tao asked Kelton.

"If you want to," Kelton answered. He bent down so Tao could get off if he wanted to.

Layla dashed out with them. It was more like super long hoppy strides but she was just excited.

Tao looked up at the hybrid. He hadn’t seen a snake before, but he was pretty sure they weren’t supposed to be that big, “Hey, May I talk now?” Tao asked Kelton.

"If you want to," Kelton answered. He bent down so Tao could get off if he wanted to.

“M’kay. So,” Tao slid off Kelton’s back, “Let’s all calm down and have a civil conversation, now. Ok?”

Layla nodded. "Yes. Let's talk." She was thrilled but a little bit scared. Her nose was twitching and she was bouncing in place.

"Thank goodness someone's willing to cooperate," Tao muttered, sighing in relief, "Ok, first of all, how did this all start?"

"i dunno, i saw him in a cage and thought: why is there another hybrid in captivitey? so, i broke him out"

Kelton turned into a human again and stayed behind Tao, not wanting to talk to anyone.

Jordan looked between all the beings around him, "Wut?"
