"I'm… I-I'm not sure. I think it's okay." Nathaniel gingerly extended his right wing. It was pretty stiff, but seemed to open properly.

"Good." Joan walked to the kitchen, her wings dragging softly behind her. "Would you like something to eat?"

"I think I'm alright for now…" The smell of the poultice didn't particularly make Nathaniel very hungry. He was still pretty woozy and lightheaded from the fall itself, and didn't really feel like moving.

"sleep then," Joan spoke from the kitchen. She peaked her head around the corner to see a sleepy Nash. "You need to heal. The potion won't do it all."

"Mhmm…" Nathaniel lay down on the couch and stared at the ceiling for a while before he managed to fall into a light, restless sleep.
