Kaitlin nodded, “Do you want a drink? Tea? Water?” She asked, hurrying off to the kitchen.
Kaitlin nodded, “Do you want a drink? Tea? Water?” She asked, hurrying off to the kitchen.
"I'm alright thank you." He smiled to himself. He finally had a girl! He'd found his soulmate. "Here, just come to sit with me. Relax a little bit."
Kaitlin nodded and sat down on the couch, “S-Sorry, I just…I wasn’t expecting to.. to meet you today.”
"I wasn't either actually. I was hoping I would but knew I probably wouldn't." He put his around her and looked her in the eyes. Those beautiful, shimmering eyes. "But here we are."
Kaitlin gave him a small smile, "Yeah, it almost feels like one of the dreams…" She said quietly.
Isaac mocked waking up. "Ahh, good morning. I had another Dream." He laughed and leaned his head back again.
Kaitlin giggled and nudged him playfully, “Alright, you’re real, I know.”
"I'm just playing with you." He smiled. "Tell me about yourself, Kaitlin."
“There isn’t much to tell. I’m 18, had an older brother, Sam, I now live by myself and like drawing and writing,” She shrugged, “What about you, Isaac?”
"Cool! I love playing the flute and taking care of plants." Isaac leaned in close. "I'm also a very romantic person. In case you haven't noticed."
Kaitlin blushed, “I-I have.” She said quietly.
Isaac noticed her stuttering and quietness and backed away. "Sorry." He said turning to look at his hands, nervously.
“No… no it’s not your fault.” Kaitlin said shaking her head slightly, “Don’t apologise, it’s not your fault.”
Isaac hadn't realized his mistake and when he did he became very nervous and flustered. "I'm sorry. I'm just excited to see you and I was nervous and I'm sorry." He fiddled a ton with his hands, trying not to look at Kaitlin.
“Isaac,” Kaitlin took the others hand in hers, “It’s not your fault, it’s mine.”
"Why would you say that? You just were sitting there. You didn't do anything." He was getting more and more flustered. He finally looked up at her and immediately he calmed down.
(Heloo?)
(Sorry, in class)
Kaitlin shook her head, “You were doing things right but I can’t…” She let out a small sigh, “I sometimes can’t tell the difference between… loving affection and not…”
"I understand. There are too many fake people in this world. It's gonna be okay though. I would never cheat you or lie to you. I promise for as long as I live." He squeezed her hands a little bit and looked her straight in the eyes. "We're in this together now."
Kaitlin smiled and nodded, "Together." She let out a sigh through her nose and lent her head on his shoulder, "What do you want to do now? I could show you around town? Or we could just stay here…"
Isaac put an arm around her and pulled her a little closer to him, trying not to be too extreme. "Let's just stay here for a little while, how about that?"
"That sounds good." She replied, reaching for the TV remote, turning it on flicking through the channels. She relaxed a little more into Isaac, becoming more comfortable with him.
Isaac smiled to himself a little bit. He wanted to kiss her again but didn't want her to feel uncomfortable so decided against it. "What kind of shows do you like to watch?"
“Geeky stuff, Sherlock, Doctor Who, Star Trek, Midsomer Murders…” She shrugged, “What about you?”
"Pretty much the same." He laughed lightly. "I'm such a geek."
“Me too.” She replied, giggling a little, “Good to know my soulmate won’t hate the shows I watch.”
"Never." He smiled. "Do you wanna watch something now or should we just kind of, get to know each other or something." Isaac drew his face gradually closer to hers, so slowly he hoped she wouldn't notice.
Kaitlin shrugged, “I don’t mind, I would like to know you a little better, but it’s entirly up to you.”
"As I would like to know you." Isaac smirked playfully. "Let's just be together for now."
“That sounds like a good plan.” Kaitlin smiled softly, completely relaxed in Isaac’s presence now.
