Vin stirred a little when Noc climbed up on the bed. He put a hand on Noc’s back, half-asleep from the warmth of all of the dragons.

Noc had flinched a bit when he felt Vin's hand on him, but after a moment he sniffed at Vin's hand in a slightly curious manner. Baal? came a voice, as Vin was still wearing the jewelry that allowed him to hear dragons

“Hmmm? Oh, no, I’m Vin,” He answered sleepily, shifting slightly.

I'm no imbecile, demon. I know you aren't the Vallha, the voice responded with a huff. It seemed to belong to Noc

Vin opened a sleepy eye. “Yeah? Your point in asking me? Baal brought me here.”

"Noc, quiet. The pups are sleeping," came a more feminine voice, which appeared to belong to Sekhmet. One of her heads gave him a look while the other rested its eyes while lying on Vin. The black dragon puffed up and gave a huff

Vin gave a gentle laugh and shut his eyes again. I don’t understand, now. Dragons are wonderful; lore got it all wrong.

Grudgingly Noc curled up on the bed, his back now to the others. It wasn't until Sansushi slowly reached over and wrapped her tail around one of his arms that he gave in and joined in on the cuddle pile

Vin twitched and rose his head to look at the source of movement. He grinned when he realized Noc was in the cuddle pile then set a hand on his back, setting his head back down.

The dragons were still sound asleep with the exception of Noc, who had woken up early. Temujin had passed by a few times to check on them, and she had laughed a bit when she saw the pile of dragons Vin had amassed

Vin twitched awake, his hand uncurling from the fist that had formed slowly on Noc's back. He blinked open his eyes, gazing up at the ceiling with a jolt of unfamiliarity. He then remembered where he was and the grin he had adopted earlier returned.

The pups and older dragons were still asleep, though when Vin awoke Noc immediately noticed. He looked over at Vin, a coo escaping him as he tilted his head in a curious manner

Vin grinned a little and gently stroked Noc's head. "Hi Noc. Have a nice rest?"

Noc tried his best to glare at Vin, but he immediately began purring when Vin stroked the bit of his head around his ear

Vin laughed gently and tried his best to stroke that spot. "Hard to be mad and prickly at me, huh?"

Noc did his best to try and growl, but it just came out as a really loud purr. His ears flicked, and despite himself one of his back legs began thumping against the bed

Vin laughed warmly, though quietly, as he didn't want to wake the pups and Coatl. He itched a little faster, wondering how Dragon's itchy spots were too much like a dog's.

Noc's purring ended up becoming loud enough to wake Sekhmet. The desert dragon gave an annoyed noise at first, though when she moved one of her heads to look at Noc she began tittering with laughter

Vin looked at Sekhmet, then started laughing warmly again. "Sorry we woke you, Sekhmet."

"Noc wakes me often. It's fine," Sekhmet answered. Noc immediately began growling softly when Vin diverted his attention away from him, but he wasn't very intimidating

Vin gave a gentle laugh in response to Sekmet and looked back at Noc. "You're an attention seeker, gosh." He continued his brisk itching of Noc's head.

Noc immediately began purring like a high performance engine, his ears flicking and both back legs now thumping against the bed. He rolled onto his back, splaying his multiple wings out and squirming a little

Vin shifted to keep up the itching on the back of the dragon's head. The thumping shook the bed slightly, which worried Vin that the pups might wake up. Though, he'd like to have them awake.

Both Lagi and Sansushi were heavy sleepers since they were pups. However, after a while the thumping ended up waking Coatl, who was now hanging partially off the bed. They let out a loud yawn, their large maw showing large fangs before closing again

Vin grinned up at Coatl and hummed a faint hello. "Hi Coatl. Have a nice rest?" He tried his best to keep up with Noc's itching.

Coatl nodded and purred before nuzzling Vin's tummy. "Had a nice rest, had a nice rest," they mumbled before flopping their head on Vin's belly

Vin huffed out a breath heavily as Coatl flopped its weight down. He laughed gently and looked back at Noc, his tummy warmer now with Coatl on it.

Noc was still purring loudly, his legs twitching and tail thumping. Seeing an opportunity, one of Sekhmet's heads reached over to begin tickling his tummy, which prompted a loud squeal from him
