There was no smol pup atop the spring dragon's head, and Vin was too busy gazing up at the large version of Baal to take notice.

Baal let out a huff of steam from his enormous maw. He was huge, his head having to be at least half a mile or so long. Only his head and neck were visible through the fog, as the rest of his body was wrapped around the mountain

Vin looked at Temujin. "What's he doing?" He called the question in case the other didn't hear him over Baal's noise.

"Enjoying being back to his old self," Temujin answered. "I was a cityspeaker, once. Baal was my charge. He loved our city," she said, a hint of nostalgia creeping into her tone

Vin chuckled softly as he gazed up at Baal. His neck was getting sore but he didn't care.
"That must've been fun."

"It was a great honor," Temujin answered. The wyvern around her neck barked softly and nudged her towards the water. She tilted her head in a concerned manner before going to look for the yappy dragon

The yappy dragon had stopped trying to fight for the surface and sunk to the bottom. It didn't need to breath oxygen, like Baal, so it was fine. Just deep underwater.

Temujin peered down at the water, a soft smile spreading across her face when she spotted it at the bottom of the springs. "There you are," she murmured

The little dragon looked up at her, yapped, then padded over to the spring dragon's feet. He rested on the giant surface of the foot, yapping happily.

The spring dragon looked down at the yappy dragon, purring and nudging gently at the pup

The yappy dragon gave a little happy bark. It floated up its giant legs and wiggled onto the kneecap of the dragon, wagging its tail happily.

Temujin smiled warmly and reached forward to pick the yappy dragon up and cradle it in her arms. The shark dragon from before whined and snapped before trotting over to Vin

The yappy dragon happily waved its nubs at Temujin's face, yapping loudly.
Vin looked down at the shark dragon, bending down to pat it carefully. "Hello, little guy!"

Temujin grinned a bit as she cuddled the yappy dragon. The shark dragon snapped happily before purring and nuzzling into Vin's hand

Vin laughed at the little shark dragon and carefully lifted it up, ready to put it down if it wanted. The yappy dragon quieted down, and nuzzled Temujin's face.

Temujin nuzzled it back and kissed it on the snout. The shark dragon wagged its tail happily, snapping a few times before beginning to lick Vin's face

Vin laughed gently and let the shark dragon lick his face, used to the licks. The yappy dragon flailed its tail, waving its stubs happily.

Temujin adjusted her grip on the yappy dragon, laughing softly as she tried to keep it from falling out of her grip. The wyvern around her neck tittered as it tried to avoid the other's flailing limbs. The shark dragon kept licking Vin before shifting so it could nibble on his ear

Vin laughed gently and pulled the dragon away. "Why are you nipping on my ear?"
The yappy dragon yapped an apology to the wyvern, waving its tail.

Temujin chuckled as the shark dragon wiggled and tried to find something to nibble on. "He likes chewing on things. It's normal," she answered

Vin laughed gently. "As long as he doesn't hurt me, I'm fine with that." He helped the dragon back up to his ear.

"No, he won't hurt you. He's rather sweet for his species," Temujin assured him. The shark dragon purred happily and nuzzled the bit of Vin's jaw with his snout before going back to nibbling on his ear

Vin laughed gently. "Aren't all pups sweet like this?"

"The pups are always the kindest. And the most adorable. But they are a bit of a handful to take care of," Temujin chuckled. The spring dragon cooed in agreement

Vin made a faint noise in his throat. "I bet it is." He sighed gently. Vien would kill him if he brought a pup home.

"I've been taking care of them for thousands of years, but I never get tired of seeing them grow up," Temujin said with a small smile

Vin rubbed the shark dragon's face. "It's probably a wonderful and rewarding lifestyle." He grinned up at Temujin.

"It is more peaceful than waging war," Temujin answered as she stroked the yappy dragon's head. The shark dragon purred happily and nibbled on Vin's nose

Vin laughed gently and stroked its snout. “You’re just so cute!”
The yappy dragon licked for her fingers, yapping and wiggling.

The shark dragon yapped and nuzzled his cheek before beginning to nibble at different bits of his face. Temujin smiled and pet the yappy dragon's snout
