He closed them but for a few seconds, "Do you know what raison d'être means?" He asked her, the embrace provided for her keeping her snugly upright and stable. How did he manage this easily to soften her philophobia?
He closed them but for a few seconds, "Do you know what raison d'être means?" He asked her, the embrace provided for her keeping her snugly upright and stable. How did he manage this easily to soften her philophobia?
She tilted her head slightly, movements steady and relaxed. "No.", she admitted, voice muted but trembling slightly as her love for him beat down the fear inside her. "What does it mean?"
"Reason for living," he replied. "It's french. And it fits perfectly for you."
Fae's eyes widened ever so slightly as the immense meaning behind those words was translated in her mind. "I– didn't know I meant that much to you." Her voice faltered for a moment, wanting to say more but not knowing how.
"It doesn't take much," he pressed his lips on the bridge of her nose, moving a hand to cradle the back of her head.
She reached up a hand to cup his cheek tenderly, gently swiping her thumb back and forth as something in her heart burst. "Thank you," she whispered warmly, voice quivering with emotion. "For healing me."
His dark eyes slid shut, in a serendipid peace that her mild contact gave him. He bore absolutely no qualms— her comfort was the only one of many attempts that he accepted wholeheartedly. "De nada." He whispered no louder than a mild hush.
Her other hand slid around from his chest to the smooth skin between his neck and shoulder as she went up on tip-toes, eyes falling shut as she leaned in. His words from earlier echoed in her ears, unearthing her immense relief that there was at least something keeping him alive.
His palm kept a little firmer to hold her head, his thoughts clamming up under the rush of vivid warmth. It felt so good to feel loved, it felt liberating. Damn the world if it ever tried to make him let go of her. This was bliss.
(Oh no… Sorry Cruz, but… she dies)
Fae pressed her lips to Cruz's, softly at first before she was pulled under a tide of emotion and love and the sense of beautiful forever that burst up between them and cocooned them in it's strong arms. She kissed him harder, every single one of the walls she'd built up around her shattering and crashing to the ground as she gave in, gave up herself wholy and completely to him.
AH, FRIKME )
XD THE PAIN )
He took a step back in the creek when she pursued forward, and he lost his balance against a stone and fell into the cold water. He yelped in short surprise, but after the initial shock, he became overwhelmed with elated laughter.
(XD Sorry!)
Fae rushed forward to help him, but tripped as well and ended up laughing, up to her elbows in the cool water. "Sorry!", she yelped, hazel hair dripping wet.
"No, it's not your fault," he laughed, sitting up while water dripped from his chin and nose. Now his chestnut locks were plastered to his head in wet clumps.
Fae chuckled, reaching forward to brush his hair out of his eyes. "That's better.", she smiled.
"When do you want to go to the foot place?" He asked her.
Fae threw back her head to laugh. "The foot place.", she gasped between giggles clutching her stomach. "It's what, four in the afternoon now? I'm pretty much free for the rest of the day. what time works for you?"
"Whenever," he answered. "What do you call it then? A spa?"
"Or a salon.", she laughed.
(are they gonna go right after this or later?)
"Fine, fine, I was close enough," he braced himself and stood up, stretching his wet arms.
Prolly change into dry clothes then go to the salonf xD )
(Okies!)
Fae did the same, wringing out her hair. "I should probably change into dry clothes before we go."
"Yeah, me too," he shook his head vigorously like a wet dog.
Fae laughed again. It would probably be a good idea to take a quick shower and get the creek water out of my hair.., she thought, qickly shooting the idea down. But I won't have enough time to go home and do it. Oh well.
(sure. pretend that Fae dried her hair with a towel and applied dry shampoo)
(wait, how are they getting there?)
Cruz can drive )
(ooh okay. would you mind if we did a very short car scene? because Fae has a phobia of getting into closed vehicles, and that would be fun to write)
(what kind of car?)
(it's fine if not, I just like hurting my character)
(You know I'm right here right @Topaz? And that most of my characters are in very vulnerable places right now? Especially Kimberly.)
(It's kind of hilarious that the more you hurt your characters the more pain it puts on my characters……………)
