Elias woke up. It was a brilliant Saturday, it was raining outside, and it was his birthday!
Lukie was still snoring gently next to Elias, tangled up in the sheets and hanging off the bed.

Elias rolled over and dragged Lukie back onto the bed as best as he could. "Wake up, love."

Lukie gave a less than attractive snort and jolted awake. “Hmmm? It’s not a school day… is it…?”

"No." Elias smiled softly. 'It is my birthday though."

Lukie sat up slowly and leaned his head on the other’s shoulder. “Mmmm… happy birthday…”

Elias sighed and kissed the top of Lukie's head. "What should we do to celebrate?"

Lukie shrugged hazily, drifting off again. “Sleeep…?”

"Sure." Elias chuckled. "And after that?"

“Mmmmmm… more sleep…”

"C'mon we can't sleep all day!" Elias leaned over and kissed Lukie's neck lightly.

Lukie twitched. “What else could we do?”

"Well…" Elias kissed his neck some more.

Lukie relaxed under Elias. “Well what? Spit it out…”

"We could go get ice cream?"

“Ice cream? How old are you turning again? Sorry… sleepy…” Lukie’s eyelids drooped.

"Hey I'm 18. And wake up." Elias kissed him hard.

Lukie’s eyes opened a little. “Eighteen… right… I totally forgot…” He grinned drunkenly.

"Are you gonna sleep my birthday away? Or are we gonna do stuff…"

Lukie whined. “It’s so earlyyyyy! You kept me up all night, teasing me!”

"It was fun and you enjoyed it." Elias leaned in closer. "It's 8 o'clock it's not that early."

“You kept me up until two,” Lukie grumbled, yet otherwise, not complaining about the “tease”.

"You bet I did. I'm gonna do it again tonight."
