Kate forced herself to think about Serra and how scared she must be. That slowed down her thoughts. They weren't him. It's okay. She listened to the sound of Ty's breathing as her brain calmed down.

"I'm so glad you two are okay. I don't know what I would have done if something happened." He laid his head back against the seat. Serra stopped crying and was now laying on Ty's lap. "Kate are you okay?"

A faint "mhmm" escaped her lips. Her throat was tightening up again. She cleared her throat. "Are you?"

"I'm not going to lose to you." He looked over at her without lifting his head. "I was scared and angry, if you two weren't there, I might have done worse then just bite." Ever since that day he's been like this, he himself didn't even know why.

She looked up at him. She knew that no matter what, she'd love him. Always. (Cough cough Harry Potter cough cough) "But if you weren't there, who knows what would have gone wrong." Her mind thought of the hundreds of ways it could have gone, one of which she was all too familiar with. She forced the thoughts out of her head.

"I should realized it sooner and got you two out of there, then none of this would have happened in the first place." His hands covered his face. Serra already had a bad experience like this, and Kate already had something in her past that bothered her and now this just added more on.

"Hey." She took his hands off his face and held them. "It's okay. We're all okay, and that's what's important." She knew both of their pasts and how it must have made things worse.

Serra fell asleep in Ty's lap. Usually when she plays to hard or is stressed she falls asleep. "Still I could have done more." He squeezed his eyes shut so he wouldn't cry, he didn't want to cry in front of Kate.

"You did everything you could. And I love you so much for that. Okay?" She put her head on his chest, ear pressed up against his heart, listening to the constant drums sounding.

"Still.." He's been praised multiple times today for what he did, but for some reason he thought he could have done. Finally his eyes met Kate's and they were soft, and none judgemental. Kate always helped him calm down.

Kate smiled warmly before gently kissing him. "I suppose we should go soon." She looked up at him and then to Serra sleeping on his lap.

"Yeah, my mom will be at my grandmother's soon to pick her up." Gently Ty pushed Serra up and buckled her up. Ty kissed Kate and let it last a few moments before crawling to the front seat and starting the car.

Kate crawled up to the front after him. She buckled herself in and looked out the window; it was the closest thing to stars. They began to drive away, past the front gates and entrance. The leaves were still blowing around in the wind making a beautiful sight.

Once they were home Ty got out a carried Serra inside and laid her down in her room. "We can go hang out in my room." Ty needed to work on a project that was due in art class soon. Ty sat in his painting chair.

Kate followed him into his room. She walked up behind him as he sat down and wrapped her arms around his shoulders, placing her head on his.

He smiled, the littlest things she does make him happy. "I guess painting can wait." He turned around and hugged her waist. It was hard for him to concentrate with her around, so he figured he'll just do it later. He then lifted his head and kissed her.

Kate smiled into the kiss. There was this bond between them, one that couldn't be broken easily. It as something she'd never experienced before. She pulled away for a split second and placed her forehead on his. "I love you, Ty."

"I love you too," Ty couldn't help but think about how lucky he is to have such an amazing girl by his side. He pick her up and kissed her again before laying her on the bed. He was glad he had a big bed. Laying next to her he sighed. "Sorry, sitting in that chair isn't the most comfortable."

Kae laughed looking over to him. "I understand." She smiled and turned on her side to face him. She thought about how both of them were broken pieces that fit together perfectly. It was the purest form of love, waiting until now to happen.

"What?" He turned over as well so they were facing each other. Her laying in his bed felt a bit different then when they were anywhere else. Many thoughts ran through his head, but he quickly got rid of them. "You know what, I think I will sit in my chair."

Her smile faded a little. She didn't want to make him feel uncomfortable. "I mean, this is your room. You may sit anywhere you'd like." She laughed a little, bringing her smile back along with her dimples. She sat up on his bed shaking her head still laughing.

"No, it's not that I'm mad or uncomfortable.." The thoughts he was having was definitely not something he could share with her, she would think bad of him and he didn't want that. Ty decided to stay on his bed, but just sat him. "It's not like that."

"Okay." She looked over to him, still smiling. "It's fine." (I'm sorry it's so short, brain fart, evidence number one)

Did she understand what I was trying to say? I mean, it not like I don't want to, I just don't want to freak her out. "I promise I wont do anything that you don't like." He laid back on the bed and covered his face with a pillow. He didn't mean to say that out loud.

Kate laughed really loud this time but quickly covered it up with her. She turned to him and took the pillow off his face. "You're so adorable." She chuckled a little. "I understand, okay?"

"Yeah, whatever." His face turned red and he looked away. Ty was a little flustered, he's never been called adorable before. Wrapping his arms around Kate he pulled her down. She was practically on top of him, he just hugged her and closed his eyes.

Vash jumped at the sound of someone calling Blue angrily, crap crap crap. she thought. She turned to look at who it was. From the voice it sounded like blues father, but she'd never really seem his face before. Making her slightly unsure. "Should we run?" She whispered to Blue not wanting to see what might go down.

Blue couldn’t answer, he just couldn’t. He was too scared when his father yanked his arm, pulling him away from Vash. He stumbled a little, making his father frown and speak again, “Where the f-ck were you? Huh? If I ever see you out again like this, boy,” His father got a lot quieter, “I will do worse then just slap and punch you, boy.” Then Blue started being dragged by his father, most likely towards his car.

"Hey!" Vash shouted as she stomped up to Blues father and jabbed a finger in his face, "leave him alone, or I will call the cops." Her tone taking on a venom all its own. She narrowed her eyes at him anger showing on her face. inside every instinct screamed to back down, but she wouldn't, nor did she.
