No I get it too, it's just that it takes me so freaking long to do them because I hate exponents and it takes me a while to organize the equation in a way that I understand before I can start solving it

Also if I send you guys audio clips of me singing do you think you could give me some advice? Because I'm applying for a musical theater program called CSSSA and part of my application is sending them a video of me singing a classic musical song (so no Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, Be More Chill, etc)

Yes I can because I'm a music goddess, I know Amazing Grace would be too mainstream… What key and octave do you like singing in? (I tend to naturally go to F#…. )

What language would you like to sing in? I know a few good ones, but most of then are in Russian….

All I know is I'm a contralto/alto lol. I can sing really really loudly but I get shy, I have trouble with vibrato, and low notes are easy for me to sing because my voice has to get quieter in order for me to hit them

Btw I'm pretty sure I'm a contralto bc my voice can go really fucking low, but I can hit high notes if I try hard enough (I can't hit high soprano notes though, no matter how hard I try)

If I try to go low, I can sort of sound like a fog horn, but nah man…..

That's the same as contralto right? idk

For an example of how low my voice can go, listen to the lowest notes of "Poor Unfortunate Souls" and for the highest, I can go to the third highest note of "The Phantom of the Opera"

Yeah but those notes are shaky, I can't hit them with 100% confidence and strength bc I get terrified lmao

I can't sing in front of people…..

Like after that third highest note in The Phantom of the Opera, my voice goes out of commission. It refuses to make anymore sound. After that low note in Poor Unfortunate Souls, I start to sound like a frog choking on acid and my voice starts to turn into a whisper

It's great. I can't get over that. I hate singing in front of people. This one time I sang a nice lullaby, and put a baby to sleep, Elias was standing at the door, smiling, and he was filming the entire thing… I was like NOOOOOOOOOOO

He was like you sing really good. You should do it more often… I try to at least get caught singing once a week, because it makes him happy….
