“Quite,” Amai smirked, flicking another knife at Carter. This one landed right next to Carter, just barely missing his ear.

"Thanks! I feel much better now!" Gabrielle heard a familiar voice and turned around seeing Kane. "Kane! You're back!" She did a warm smile.

she furrows her brow "what do you mean back?"

Lotus closed the screen causing the dagger to disappear, but the roach stayed dead. They turned to Kane, "Hey Kane."

Carter flinched away from this one as well, this time ducking his head. He clenched his fist as his side. "Stop."

"You were just here, earlier… remember?" She kept her smile.

"i wasnt he- AMAI!" she yells thinking of what he said earlier

“Hmmm…. well, maybe just one more,” Amai feinted throwing a knife, this one staying between his fingers. Amai grinned at Carter, the knife blade facing the male.

"Who's Amai?" Gabrielle tilted her head from confusion.

Carter flinched away and covered his face before peaking back out at Amai. "You absolute dick." He muttered, using his power to send a nightmare into Amai's head.

"Wait, I'm so confused…" She sat down on her bed.

"you see, i wasnt here earlier today. i was taking a nap for most of the day, i presume Amai used somesort of transformation powrs to come here"
