Avie yapped excitedly at the sight of the ball, and Bastian couldn't help but chuckle. He unclipped Avie's leash so she could fetch the ball

Halo throws it for her and she chases after it, leaping up and grabbing it. She trots back and sits in front of them.

"Good girl!" Bastian praised, laughing softly as he pet Avie for a moment. Taking the ball, he tossed it again

Halo laughs as he watches Avie chases after the ball.

Avie caught it in midair, and Bastian clapped and cheered for her when she returned with it. "Good girl," he cooed, petting her happily

She barks but then perks, looking around. She barks at a person not far from where Halo and Bastian were sitting.

Bastian tilted his head curiously. "What are you barking at, girl?" he asked

(should the person be Luno?)

(If you want.)

She just barks again. Halo shushes her gently. "Easy girl."

(I mean we could give them a little more time at the park before he shows up)

Bastian stroked Halo's fur gently. "Hey, hey, it's okay," he soothed

(Yeah. Let's do that.)

Avie barks again, looking at something in the person's hand. A hot dog. Halo raises a brow then grabs the treats from the bag. "Avie. Here girl!"

Bastian laughed a little when he realized why Avie was barking. "Treats are better than hot dogs, Avie," he laughed

Halo laughs as well, grabbing one of the treats. "Sit." He says, smiling at the dog. She sits instantly, her tongue sticking out.

Bastian laughed softly at Avie, finding the way she stuck her tongue out adorable

Halo tosses her the treat, praising her.

Bastian grinned widely as he watched Halo gobble up the treat. "Looks like she likes it."

Halo nods and coos at Avie. He starts teaching her tricks, laughing and smiling. He leans against Bastians shoulder, giving a happy sigh.

Bastian smiled widely as he watched Halo teach Avie tricks. He thought it was absolutely precious

Halo looks up. "How about we break into the food?" He asks happily.

"Food would be great," Bastian said eagerly. He was getting pretty hungry now

Halo nods and grabs the food filled basket. "Here we are."

Bastian made grabby hands towards the basket before grabbing it and setting it in his lap. He began to rummage through it before pulling out his sandwich

Halo chuckles softly as he watches the other, humming softly. He was happy. He was loved.

Bastian set his sandwich next to him before handing Halo the basket. "Here you go," he said before pecking his cheek

Halo laughs, taking the basket once Bastian was done. He grabs the water bottle and takes a small sip. He leans against Bastians shoulder.

Bastian smiled, resting his head on top of Halo's before taking a bite of his sandwich

Halo hums softly. "I love you." He mutters softly.

"I love you too," Bastian murmured, smiling as he pressed a kiss to the side of Halo's cheek. He laughed a little as he wiped the crumbs he had left off

Avie barks and leaps into Bastians lap, whining a little.

Bastian squeaked a bit when Avie jumped into his lap. He gave a soft chuckle before hugging her to his chest

Halo chuckles softly and pets the top of her head.
