"What's wrong?" Aurelius asked Farron, keeping a hand on Nox to reassure her.
(Sounds good.)
Riven awoke with a jump and knocked Mara out of bed. Get up! Mara immediately jumped on Riven, even though she was still tired, but if something was wrong she wasn't going to take her time to get out of there. As soon as they stepped out of the house they saw Aurelius, Nox and Farron. "Riven there's nothing happening." The twin was quiet and It was still a bit dark out but the sun peaked over the mountains.
(I have to go. Goodnight!)
(Night.)
"What's wrong?" Aurelius asked Farron, keeping a hand on Nox to reassure her.
”It’s… It’s Ysethen. He woke up from… a dream but dragons don’t get dreams so it must have been a vision and he’s really restless and scared and I don’t know what to do.” Farron was nervous himself, which was knew to him. He ran a shaky hand through his hair.
"Farron?" Mara hadn't seen him like this. "What's going on?" She slipped off Riven. "Riven woke me up all freaked out." She knew something was wrong. Something is coming.
“I’m not sure what going on. Ysethen is… he had some sort of vision about the Elders but…” He sighed and rubbed his face, trying to calm himself.
"Ysethen too? Nox had a vision. She wouldn't put it into coherent words, but from what I understand, there was destruction as far as the eye can see, and people and dragons were dying," Aurelius explained.
Quincy was trying to calm Jade down after she had woken up thrashing. The dragon wouldn't calm down until Quincy had packed all of her belongings into bags that could easily be transported around. With a long sigh the pair left the house, all there belongings on them, "Was this really necessary?"
Yes.
(Can cerulean be teamed with Valkyrie?)
First was growling and whimpering in her sleep. “Frost?” Lucky asked tentatively. Frost growled and blew a puff of cold air in her direction
(Yes. That makes sense)
“What’s going with them?” Farron asked
"Well, dragons have an aptitude for predicting the future. These visions are likely glimpses of the things to come. How soon, we can't be sure," Aurelius said, "Dragons can also see the ancient past, but for so many to see it at once, it must be something in the nearer future."
Farron nodded, “Alright… so that means that something terrible is going to happen to the village then, right? If all out dragons are seeing visions of the future then… then it must be close.”
"That's my guess," Aurelius confirmed, "Seems like the only logical explanation. So I think we need to prepare and warn people. Anyone who will listen."
Farron nodded again, “We need to tell the elders first.”
"That's what I was thinking," Aurelius sighed, "I'm sure they'll be glad to see my face again."
Farron half smiled, “Who cares, this is important.”
"Yeah, so they had better listen to what we have to say, and what our dragons have to say," he said grimly, "If they don't think it's a sign of a threat, we're going to prepare anyway."
“Yeah, better to be safe then sorry. And we can’t ignore these signs.”
"Well, let's go. I don't think we have much time to waste," Aurelius suggested, going towards the Hall of Elders in a brisk walk.
Farron followed, looking over his shoulder towards his home were Ysethen was.
Can I come with you? Nox asked, fluttering her wings a little.
"Yes, I need your word to tell them what's going on," Aurelius agreed.
He jogged up the stairs and held the door open for both Nox and Farron.
“Thanks.” Farron walked a little way in and looked back at Mox and Aurelius, “Should we knock or what? Just barge in?”
Quincy walked up to the elders, all of her stuff on them. She responded to Farron's question, "We are barging in. Whatever made Jade think I needed to pack all our stuff up needs to be reported."
"At this point, they're going to hear us out, like it or not," Aurelius said.
He bypassed the guards, who didn't really do anything about it besides shouting, "Hey!" after him. After all, he was well-known in the village, not a danger to the elders or anything.
In the hall, they were having a meeting about foreign politics and dragon knights for hire, but Aurelius didn't hesitate to interrupt.
"We've got urgent news. This can all wait."
“The dragons are having visions of you all dying and the village being burnt to a crisp.” Farron said, walking up beside Aurelius.
"So do something about it," Quincy followed them up.
"Let's not act rashly, my dears," the elder sitting at the head of the table said calmly, "We are in a safe place. No one has attacked our society in our lifetimes. Not even in our grandparents' lifetimes."
Aurelius muttered, "That doesn't mean it can't happen now. In fact, that's all the more reason to do something. We want to keep that security."
“Just because it hasn’t happened before doen’t mean it won’t. These signs cannot be ignored.” Farron said.
