Seth bites his lip, bowing his head. "Wh-where are the boys?" He asks quietly.

Zackary stepped away from him and said hurriedly, “I don’t want them to see me like this. They might be in Jace’s room, or the twins might be looking at their rooms.”

"It's okay. I'll cover for you." He says gently. "Go rest, becoming a pure blood is a painful process." he kisses Zackary's cheek.

Zackary nodded and walked into the room, his legs suddenly aching. He shut the door, leaned against it and shut his eyes. When he opened them again, his legs had stopped hurting, yes, but he… was much taller. He was like, 6’7!
What’s going on?! Zackary screamed the question in his mind, though he already knew the answer.

Seth walks towards the rooms. "Boys? Are you up there?" He calls.

There was faint giggling from one of the rooms. Otherwise, no answer.

Seth opens one of the doors a small crack.

The room was dark and empty. Another faint giggle sounded nearby.

He continues, "Kids?" He calls quietly.

There’s not a reply. Not another giggle sounded.

Seth gulps softly and opens Jace's bedroom door.

It was empty and dark, just like the first guest bedroom.

He bites his lip and enters the room, turning on the light.

No one was in there.

He sighs and continues looking through the house.

As he walked away from the bedrooms, a giggle sounded.

He turns around. He smirks a little. "Oh. Playing hide and seek are we now?" He purrs.

A particularly loud giggle sounded, then a “SHHH!”

Seth chuckles and begins to look. He peeks in the closet.

Nope, but it was definitely somewhere in the room. The giggle was very close to here.

A glimmer of an eye appeared, and there was quiet shuffling.

Seth smirks. "Boo." He says, laughing a little.

Jace giggled gently and shuffled away. “You’ll never get me!”

Seth purrs and slinks under the bed. "Here I come."

Jace shuffled up against the wall, giggling more wildly than before.

"I'm gonna getcha!" He laughs, closing in on the smaller. "Here I come!"

Seth suddenly felt a foot on his back. “You were right, Jace, we didn’t think he’d actually do it,” Neo’s voice sounded from above the bed.

Seth looks up, "What are you doing?" He asks, looking at the foot on his back.
