Cameron nodded and let his arm down, which had started to get numb. “I don’t have any cash, so maybe we should just take my car.”
Cameron nodded and let his arm down, which had started to get numb. “I don’t have any cash, so maybe we should just take my car.”
Lilah smiled softly at Cameron. "If you want to do that, that's fine with me. As long as I get to hang out with you."
Cameron looked at her and smiled softly back. He took her hand, the smile remaining. “If you don’t mind, we could just go back and I could show you around.”
"Yeah, that sounds good. I showed you my home, you can show me yours," Lilah agreed with a playful wink.
Cameron chuckled and started to walk back. “My room’s cleaner than it usually is. So congratulate yourself, you inspired me to clean.”
Lilah patted herself on the back. "Congrats, self. You caused someone to be productive!" she laughed.
Cameron laughed too and glanced around the street. “I dunno if Lily did anything to it, though, since Williams tosses her in there all the time.”
"Well, she's a puppy. What do you expect?" Lilah said with a shrug.
Cameron chuckled. “I wasn’t blaming her for my chaos.”
(When you lose something that's right in front of you…)
"I never said you were," Lilah said, playfully bumping him with her hip.
(Oof)
Cameron chuckled merrily again and bumped her back. “You were hinting at it.”
(Oh, and what's better is that it was on my lap.)
Lilah laughed and poked him in the side. "Not intentionally."
(xD)
Cameron nudged her with his hip again. “Yeah? Really?”
(gentlest of bumps)
(Gosh dangit, twice in one day.)
"Yes, really!" Lilah laughed, poking him in the arm.
(I did it no worries)
Cameron chuckled. “Alright, let’s go. Back to the Palace…” He started walking.
Lilah smiled as she followed him. With a slight smirk, she poked him in the side again, then hurried away, giggling.
Cameron chuckled lightly and glanced over. “Hey, get out of the street. People might run you over.” He trotted to her and lifted her up in a bride-carry.
Lilah laughed as she was lifted up. "Stop it! People will look at us funny!"
Cameron carried her out of the street. “Who cares? Not you, certainly?”
"I mean… Kinda?" Lilah said with a shrug. Her cheeks warmed as she blushed, and she looked down.
Cameron chuckled a tired chuckle. “Don’t get bashful, jeez. I’ll set you down.” He honored his promise and set her down.
"Thanks," Lilah said quietly, looking up to smile at him gently.
Cameron patted her shoulder. “Anyway, walking.” He grinned back at her and started walking.
"Right, walking," Lilah laughed awkwardly. "So… How big is your place?"
“It’s not that big, in my opinion. It’s regal, though.” Cameron gave a hollow, spite-filled laugh.
"Is something wrong with that?" Lilah asked quietly, placing a hand on his arm.
Cameron shrugged. “It’s just annoying.” He sighed.
"What's annoying about it?" Lilah wondered aloud. She glanced up at him with a concerned look.
Cameron shook his head. “It’s just really… ugh…” He shook his head again.
