"O-Okay," Luna nodded and looked up at him, "N-none of you could ever b-be a burden to me. I-I'm more than willing to listen to your stories."

Uriah rubbed his eyes from the over exhaustion. He hadn't slept much since he got back from his trip, and with everything that's been going on he felt overwhelmed. He stood and decided to take a walk, he couldn't really sit still even if it did feel like he was going to pass out. From the corner of his eye he saw Eira in the training room. He opened the door slowly and just watched for a moment seeing of she would be able to sense him.
Eira kept hitting harder and harder, paying no attention the the world around her and complaining oblivious to Uriah. Eventually she hit the bag so hard she hissed and cried out a little, clutching her hands, “Shit sakes…” She muttered, sitting down on the floor.
Uriah calmly walked over, because freaking out wouldn't help the situation. "Hey, maybe you should take a break." He held out a water bottle for her. And sat down against the wall. He was debating if he should do a few punches, maybe it would wake him up.
"Tell me if at any point you want me to stop," Cyrus said before starting.
"So, you've known me for long enough to notice that I have horrible anxiety, and it doesn't take much to make it worse- what, with our lifestyle. This past year or so has been literal hell. Of course, part of being an anxiety-ridden mess is that it makes me very negative and constantly think of worst-case scenarios. Then those worst-case scenarios started coming true."
Eira pushed the water bottle away with shaky hands, “No. I… I need to be better. Stronger. I’ve had worse pain before… I-I need to keep going.” She slowly stood again, nearly slipping and falling over.
"W-wow," Luna said quietly a bit wide eyed, "A-and my d-death contributed to that. I-I'm so sorry."
"I don't want you to blame yourself… This is part of why I was so reluctant to share anything," Cyrus sighed, "Never mind… I won't bother you with any more of the details…"
"N-no, please do," Luna said trying her hardest not to stutter, "I'm not b-blameing myself. I'm just stating an o-observation."
Uriah grabbed her shoulder and slowly pushed her down. "Pushing yourself like this isn't healthy, you'll never be able to protect those you love if you can't take care of yourself." He stood up and wrapped his hand and took his shirt off so it wouldn't get all sweaty. "How about I go for a while, and you rest. Them maybe I'll let you go again." He smiled a winked at her. All the assassin girls he met have been a challenge for him, but he liked challenges.
“Please don’t leave me…” Eira whispered, looking down at the floor slightly embarrassed, “I don’t want to be alone right now… I might,” She swallowed, “I might do something stupid again.” She distracted herself by examining her bloodied hands, wincing a little as she tried to open them and close them into a fist.
"I wasn't going to." Her put his hand on her head. "I'll be right here, just throwing a few punches." He thought about leaving today, but Cy stopped him, he wondered what her reaction would be if he did she found out about it. He laughed a little imagining her and Sparrow hunting him down and just beating him up. "If you want to talk go ahead, I'll listen."
Eira looked up at him like he was slightly crazy but soon a small smile spread across her lips, “Thankyou…” He restedbher head back against the wall, bringing her knees to her chest, “I just… I feel like I’m not good enough to be here. That I need to try harder and prove myself again and again. Alex and Luna got captured, and what did I do? I didn’t do anything I try and see if they were alive and just presumed them dead… I can’t let it happen again…”
"If you're sure," Cyrus said, lifting his head up and straightening his posture a little.
"Well… Okay… Zhavia's death hit me really hard. It was my first time seeing a friend die in front of me. I panicked and overreacted, injuring myself in the process. I blamed myself. I was a complete mess for several days afterwards. We hadn't known each other for very long, and yet… So, that leads into our time in that bunker. I have had a cloud hanging over my head constantly ever since. Not only was I constantly nervous and revved up, always feeling like my heart was about to beat out of my chest… I was also unbearably sad, and felt like the sadness was my fault. I thought I was reacting too much. So I tried to hide it. But all of it was just so much weight to carry… I never wanted you guys to leave, because I was afraid you might die. We didn't hear back from you for a while. I had been worried this whole time, but Eira convinced me to help her get this place started up. Then we got the news about you and Zoe. I lost it. I reverted to bad habits of drinking to cope… Training in careless ways that just hurt me physically… I started having frequent anxiety attacks… All bad things. Eira confronted me about it, and I acted angry towards her, but most of that stopped. I just laid in bed for three weeks or so, wanting to disappear. Eira was running the whole place by herself. I think she thought I'd get over it, like I usually do, but I didn't, and I stopped taking care of myself until she intervened. Had she not, there's a chance I might not have made it much further."
(Eira: yeah you son of a bitch, who’s the bestest friend ever? Me. That’s who)
(Lol what? To Cy? Because if so, yes, I 100% agree.)
(Yeah, that’s towards Cy, lol)
"Dios Cyrus," Luna said wide eyed, "I-I feel awful that happened to you. I-I'm sorry."
Cyrus shook his head. "Don't be… I think I'm getting bet- no. Who am I kidding? I'm still a human disaster. You've seen it firsthand. Point is, I've tried… And also whatever you're going through up here?" He tapped his head. "I've probably been through something similar. So you can rely on me."
Luna nodded and looked at him concerningly, "O-Of course. W-while your help me, I-I'll help you."
"I'm not going to lie… I was glad to get that off my chest," Cyrus laughed halfheartedly, "Of course, only Eira knew… But yeah, feel free to rant or cry to me if you feel the need. Did you want to go back inside, or do you need a little longer?"
"I-I can go back inside," Luna said glancing back at the building, "C-cyrus, you can talk to me anytime okay? I-I'm may not sound the best, but I-I'm fine."
"I know…" Cyrus sighed, "Thanks for hearing me out. If you want to start hanging out more, or if you want to talk, just let me know. I'm never too busy to help take care of my friends. And one more thing? If it's not too much to ask, will you help keep me in check a little? Just… if you notice me start to slip up, with the careless drinking, not taking care of myself, or anything else concerning, talk to me or tell someone else to do it. I try, but I can't always better myself alone…"
"Por supuesto!" Luna responded smiling. Not only was she happy to help, but her native tongue was finally returning to her, "I-I would be more than happy to help, but don't y-you think Eira or Sparrow would be a better choice? You s-seem to be around them more often th-than with me."
"Yeah, um… Sparrow doesn't know," Cyrus whispered, "And I don't think there's truly a 'better choice.' You're just as good a friend as either of them, and I trust you."
"O-oh," Luna whispered, "W-well gracias for the t-trust. I-I'll help as I can."
"No need to thank me. You've earned that trust, you know? After all these years, we'd be fools to not consider you reliable," Cyrus said, "Screw the whole 'every man for himself' mentality Panther tried to instill into us. We're a family. A family falling apart at the seams, but still a family."
"Y-yeah, familia. W-we're all familia," Luna said in an echoey voice, "I-I wonder what's everyone role is?"
"Uriah is easy. He's grandma," Cyrus began, looking for a laugh.
Luna giggled at the statement, "O-of course. W-who else could he be?"
