"Something with water… hmmm no, I don't think we'll be able to." Vin's grin vanished seriously.
"Something with water… hmmm no, I don't think we'll be able to." Vin's grin vanished seriously.
"Why not?" Vien asked, now pouting a bit. "I want to go swimming, and we're right by the ocean."
"I don't think we're near water. Imean we traveled hours, and I don't see an ocean!"
Vien's eyes narrowed at him. "Vin, we are sitting in a café that is not even two feet from the ocean. Is there something you're not telling me?"
Vin chuckled. "I'm kidding. Of course we're going to go swimming!"
"Oh thank god," Vien laughed. "How about we go run back to the cabin before going swimming?"
Vin shook his head with a grin. "Yeah, we should do that."
Vien nodded and stood up, stretching and yawning afterwards
Vin rose out of the booth too, leading the way to the door. "Come on, Vien!"
"I'm coming, I'm coming," Vien huffed before following after him
Vin waited up for Vien and led them out to the car.
Vien walked out to the car, yawning and stretching before stepping inside. Baal whined and pawed at the back of the seat, his tail wagging
Ruby gruffed gently as the pair entered, shifting around Baal protectively.
Vin rolled his eyes as he buckled in. “Ruby, it’s just us.”
Baal yapped and pawed at the back of the seat, and Vien turned around to pet Baal and soothe him a bit
Ruby borked at Vien happily, shifting her legs. She whined for him to pet her.
Vien laughed and turned around a bit more so he could pet the both of them
Vin chuckled. “You’re just such an attention giver.”
"And you're an attention seeker," Vien teased back
Vin slapped Vien’s shoulder lightly. “I am not!”
"See, you're looking for attention now," Vien teased
“No, I want you to start the car.” He laughed.
"Okay, okay, I'm starting the car," Vien chuckled. He turned to buckle his seatbelt, but Baal whined and tried to squirm into the front seat
Vin leaned back in the seat with a gentle sigh. “Don’t forget how to drive, now.”
"Watch yourself, Vin," Vien teased, and he nudged Baal back into the back seat before beginning to drive
Vin laughed gently and glanced back. “What’s Baal trying to do?”
"I think he wanted into the diner. He likes going into buildings and stuff, but he can't unless he's invisible," Vien said with a shrug
Vin hummed. “Why did he just become invisible?”
"Well it sort of depends how much he can do it. He's usually invisible to humans, but when he's making it so people can see him it gets difficult to switch back and forth," Vien explained
Vin nodded. “Makes sense.” He glanced back to look at Baal. “Sounds really hard on his body.”
"Yeah. He doesn't belong in this dimension, and it takes him a lot to stay here," Vien said with a nod
