Ellis kept obediently hidden in the closet, wings folded tightly against himself in fear.

"Grace–you did the same thing Grace did." She rocked herself silently.

Macha’s eyes widened and she quickly wrapped her arms around Sabine.

Sabine leaned on her friend. "Please don't do that again."

“Do what?”, Macha asked softly. “Beanie, I don’t remember doing anything.”

(‘Beanie’ from ‘Sabine’)

Sabine took a few deep breaths. "That's one of the reasons it's so scary. Mach, your skin started turning back to stone. You somehow destroyed it, but it still happened."
(Love the pet name btw. And Sabine calls Macha 'Mach')

“What?!” Macha trued desperateky not to defend into panic. “Not possible.”

Sabine sighed. "I'm just going to try to sleep. I haven't for about two weeks now." She stood up, remembering having to walk through the quiet battle field, stopping over the dead bodies of her friends. Her family. And that was just the day before. She shuttered as she shakily made her way out of the room.

Macha’s eyes trailed after Sabine, overflowing with worthy and confusion.

Skylar placed Kenzie on the ground and got up. She hobbled over to Macha. "Are you ok?" She askrd

Macha shrugged. “I don’t remember a thing.”

August, after checking in with Cruz, leaned in the doorway to the room where Macha and Sabine were.

Skylar nodded, looking down. "Well ok then." She said, sitting down to rest her leg.

Ellis emerged from the closet, finding no more screams were shaking his bones.

Zander stood for a moment, thinking.This part of his life must be fluff. Like the an episode in a tv series that doesn't provide story so much as it does background. Then thought. Nah, that's like saying we're figments of someone's imagination. No one could be that cruel, especially with everything that's happened..

Dani stared at the ceiling, trying to not read Zander's thoughts. "How much longer?" She asked impatiently. She wanted to get out of the hospital wing.

Dani counter her breaths as Zander counted the seconds. Don't you DARE think about Aiden. Don't think about the fact that he could be alive. Don't think about the fact that if he is alive, Alice won't be here to greet him. Don't think about the fact that you couldn't save Alice from herself. Just don't.

Skylar turned towards Ellis. "Hi! Where were you?" She asked.

"Ten seconds, nine seconds, eight seconds, seven seco– Oh wait they just extended it for another two hours." Zander looked at Dani's reaction, and smiled slightly,"Just kidding… 2, 1"

Dani shot upright and hit Zander with a pillow in the face. "How dare you scare me like that!!" She said playfully.

"Hiding," he mumbled back to Skylar.

Zander laughed as the pillow hit him and said,"Well, at least now your free to go"

"Yay. Now I'm not sure where everyone is though. Hold on." She quickly spoke to a nurse who said that most of her friends were back at the flat. "Come on Zander."
