After Elias brushed his teeth and other things, he headed to the kitchen for breakfast. "Do you want any waffles?" He called.

“No, they’re weird pancakes with abs.” Lukie plopped back down into the bed.

"They're pancakes with tire treads." Elias corrected.

“No, they’re weird,” Lukie repeated with a snap.

"Fine….fine!" Elias made a face. "Be that way. I'm just gonna enjoy syrupy waffle goodness."
