Vin pointed his fork at Vien’s hand. “Ah! Bisque.”
Vin pointed his fork at Vien’s hand. “Ah! Bisque.”
"Here, I'll trade you," Vien said before taking his spoon and getting a bit from his bowl before offering it to Vin
Vin took the spoon and ate some of the bisque. He gestured towards his plate, saying Vien could take one.
Vien took a clam happily, eating it before returning to his bisque. “Mm. Might just move here for the food,” he chuckled
Vin chuckled too. “I wonder how much business they get. This stuff is really good!”
“I know. We should come here more often,” Vien hummed before popping a hush puppy in his mouth
Vin nodded and grabbed another clam. “We really should. This place is super good.”
Vien nodded before taking another bite of bisque. He then took a quick sip of coffee before returning to his food
(Time skip?)
(Sure)
(When would you like?)
(maybe just after they eat?)
(Sounds good.)
Vin leaned back in his seat, burping gently. “That was great!”
Vien nodded, wiping at his mouth before stretching. "Mm, I think I need a nap," he chuckled
Vin rolled his eyes. “You just woke up about an hour ago. You din’t need a nap.”
"Sleep is important baby, especially after eating that much food," Vien countered
“Too much is super bad for you, love. It means your body is lonely, and you’re no such thing.” Vin reached over and took Vien’s hand.
Vien raised a brow at that. "My body is lonely, hm? I would think it wasn't, especially with you in my bed," he hummed, smiling as he gave Vin's hand a squeeze
Vin chuckled. “That’s what I’m saying. But science… can’t argue with it.”
Vien just rolled his eyes at that. "Yeah, okay. No naps, I get it."
Vin patted Vien's hand. "Good. Now, who's paying?"
"We can split the check," Vien answered before reaching for his wallet with his free hand
Vin nodded and grabbed for his own wallet.
"Damn… I don't have it…" Vin checked his other pocket with a sigh.
"Of course you don't," Vien huffed, rolling his eyes before beginning to go through his cash
Vin glared up at Vien. "We just got engaged. Why would I trick you into buying me food?"
"Relax, baby. I was just messing with you," Vien chuckled, leaning across the table to kiss Vin's cheek before checking the bill for how much they owed
The bill was only $20, for they didn't charge for the puppies or the refills of their drinks.
Vin huffed. "You'd better be messing with me."
"I was," Vien hummed before pulling a twenty out of his wallet. He set it with the bill and took out a tip before putting his wallet away
Vin itched the back of his head. "Good. Now… what now?" He grinned at Vien.
"Mm…Something with water? I've been dying to go swimming for a while now," Vien suggested
