Lilah bit her lip as she examined herself in the mirror. She was getting ready to go visit Cameron and was very nervous about what she was going to wear. So far, she'd tried on nine different shirt/pants/skirt combinations and three different dresses. She was currently wearing a simple red flannel dress with black leggings, a brown belt, and knee-length brown boots.

"Liam, what do you think about this one?" she asked, turning to face her twin. He was currently laying back on her bed, looking extremely bored.

"It looks great, Lil. Just like the others did," he assured her.

"Are you sure? Because I don't know if this is something people would wear to a planetarium. What if I'm under-dressed?"

"Lilah, you look great. As always. Just wear this and get going. You're going to be late!"

Lilah sighed. "All right, all right. I'll go. Thanks for the help."

Liam stood and crossed the room to pull his sister into a tight hug. "Have fun, okay?" he murmured into her hair.

"I will. Thanks," Lilah said, hugging him back for a moment before pulling away to head out. "Bye, Liam! Get out of my room now!"

Cameron was sitting outside with his wriggling puppy in his lap, yearning to kiss his chin. It was a very pretty day; sunlight bounced off of the castle's mighty white and gold walls and reflected off of the large windows.
Lily romped out of his lap and wriggled around in the warm glistening grass. Cameron chuckled and set the pink roses down he had curled in his fist.
Cameron himself was wearing a bland dress-shirt and a pair of jeans. William would've fussed a lot more if he wasn't off tending to the kitchens, to which Cameron was thankful.

Lilah's car pulled up in front of Cameron, and the driver stepped out and opened the door for her. She carefully climbed out, making sure nothing got caught on the door or anything.

Seeing Cameron outside, she grinned and waved at him.

Cameron rose with a grin and a wave then Lily started barking, still romping around, staining her white fur in green.
Cameron glanced down and scooped up the puppy and the roses, waiting nervously on his spot.

Cameron smiled at her. "Yeah, they are." He handed her the pink roses over his wriggling puppy.
Lily borked excitedly at Lilah, straining towards her.
"Lily, calm down," Cameron growled gently to the puppy, who didn't pay attention. He glanced back up at Lilah.
"You look great!"

"Thanks! You look nice, too," Lilah said as she took the flowers. She smelled then, then looked back up. Smiling, she reached her free hand out to the puppy. "This must be Lily," she laughed.

Cameron shrugged with a grin. "Thanks. And yes, this is Lily. She's a little…" He glanced down at her grass-stained fur.
"Uh, dirty, per say, so I might drop her off inside."
Lily yearned towards Lilian's fingers, wriggling more than before, licking the air in her excitement to lick the newcomer's fingers.

Lily borked loudly then the little puppy wiggled out of Cameron's grasp and down to the ground, where she hopped around excitedly, still barking.

Cameron sighed and plucked up the puppy again. "Ever since she was eight weeks when the breeder let us take her. She's cute, but a handful."
Lily barked happily in Cameron's grasp and started licking his face, wiggling her whole bottom half.

Cameron shook the puppy off of his face. "I dunno, Lily can annoy older dogs really easily."
Lily barked loudly and continued licking Cameron's face.
"Get off, Lily! I'm trying to have a conversation!"
The puppy didn't care. She just kept licking.

Cameron chuckled and pulled Lily away. "Really? Well, I might think about it. Lemmie put Lily down inside and we can go-" But he was cut off.
"Prince Cameron!" Called a loud male voice from by the doors.
"Oh sh**." Cameron looked at Lilah. "We should jus go now."

Cameron blocked her view. "It's no one."
"PRINCE CAAAAAAAAMMMMERRRROOONN!"
"Oh my god… YEAH?" Cameron called back, turning around to face the tall man with floppy light-brown hair, gray eyes and in a tailcoat jogging towards them.
"Thank goodness I've found you. I need you- hey, who is this lovely lady?" The butler gasped suddenly, not letting Cameron answer. "It's not… Cameron you can't!"
"Williams, can you please, let me explain. We're just…" Cameron glanced over his shoulder at Lilah, not wanting to hurt her feelings.
Williams raised his eyebrows expectantly. "Friends indeed, hmm? Are those roses that you grew?"
"Yes but-"
"And you're wearing a dress shirt."
"Yes but-"
"So you're going on a date with her."

Lilah blushed. She hadn't really thought about it, but she supposed it could be considered a date. Especially since they were dressed (at least somewhat) nicely.

"I'm Princess Lilah Rose Lasota," she introduced herself, giving the man a small smile and a slight nod of her head. "Who are you? If I may ask."

Cameron lapsed into a huffy silence and the butler bowed. "I am the Royal Butler, Zach Novell Williams. A pleasure to meet you, M'lady."

@Imperfect_Autumn group

"You as well, I'm sure. Prince Cameron and I were just about to leave," Lilah explained pointedly.

(I need to leave so I'm not late for work. I'll try to be back later!)

(;u;)

Williams nodded and straightened up. "I understand that madam, but Cameron here is absolutely forbidden do have this type of contact by his parents. Surely he explained that?"

Deleted user

Cameron turned a faint red and looked away.
Williams cocked his head. "Oh? Why is that?"

@Imperfect_Autumn group

(I was high-key worried that I'd be late to work, but I still don't have to leave. Lol.)

"He should be able to choose his own future," Lilah declared. "Not have chosen for him. If he wants to have a relationship with someone, he should be able to."

Deleted user

(wow what the heck. Time is bamboozling you)

Williams put his gloved hands together. "Unfortunately, Cameron's parents don't feel this way."
Cameron scowled at the ground. "Yet here I am at twenty-one years old. I think I'd be able to make my own decisions."
"Your parents don't feel that way, Cameron," Williams replied lightly.

@Imperfect_Autumn group

(I'm always worried I'm going to be late. Lol. I've actually got to go this time, though…)

"He's an adult," Lilah pointed out. "They technically don't have much of a say in what he can and cannot do. Unless things are run differently here?"

Deleted user

(;O;)

"Yes it is run differently, madam."
"I don't care, Williams," Cameron grunted angrily. "I'm going on this date, I don't give a damn what my parents think." He grabbed Lilah's hand firmly. "Go ahead and tell them. What's the worst they can do? Kill their son and make the name worse?"
