“Do you know any immortal witches?” Vin questioned critically, looking at Vien down his nose.
“Do you know any immortal witches?” Vin questioned critically, looking at Vien down his nose.
"Not personally, no. Though I have heard of a few," Vien answered with a shrug
Vin rolled his eyes. “You don’t need to immortalize yourself.”
"But why? I don't want to die and end up stuck in hell or something," Vien huffed
Vin rolled his eyes. “You wouldn’t end up in hell with a fiancé like me.”
"Nah, we'd be in demon heaven or something," Vien chuckled. Though he wouldn't exactly mind that, really
Vin laughed. “Wouldn’t we?”
"I'd be okay with that," Vien said with a shrug
Vin chuckled. “It’d be nice, just us.”
"Just us in demon heaven. Sounds lovely."
Vin nodded. “Sounds great.”
Vien nodded, though before he could say anything his stomach growling interrupted him. "I think it's time for breakfast," he chuckled
Vin chuckled too. “Yeah, where’s our waiter?”
"Right there," Vien pointed out as the waiter neared them
Vin hummed and nodded as they approached.
“How are you two gentleman doing?” He asked with a smile.
“Good,” Vin replied with a grin.
Vien smiled a bit when the waiter came over. He was already trying to think of things to order
The waiter looked back and forth at the pair. “Once you find something to drink and eat, just call me over!”
Vien nodded in acknowledgement before beginning to look through the menu
The waiter trotted off, leaving behind the two menus.
Vin picked up his, looking through it and humming.
Vien eventually found the lobster bisque, his mouth watering. "Mm, I know what I'm having," he said before moving to the drinks section
Vin chuckled. “Lemmie guess, lobster?” He’d caught eye at the dish earlier.
Vien nodded in agreement. Eventually he set his menu down, deciding he'd get coffee
Vin chuckled gently again and set down his menu a couple minutes later.
The waiter bobbed over and took their orders, bobbing away again, leaving them with hush puppies.
Vien grabbed a hush puppy and happily popped one in his mouth. "Mm, this place's food is good."
Vin followed suit with grabbing a hushpuppy of his own. “Mm! It is!”
Vien nodded, smiling as he alternated hush puppies and sips of coffee
After a fifteen-twenty minute wait their food came out. The waiter got them another plate of hushpuppies and refilled their drinks.
Vien licked his lips and eagerly accepted his lobster bisque. He thanked the waiter quickly before digging in
Vin thanked the waiter also, with a smile, and set his plate of clams and steak down. “God, Vien, you’re acting like you haven’t eaten in years!”
"It's good," Vien huffed around a mouthful of bisque. He swallowed his bit before reaching over and grabbing a clam from Vin's plate
