Robin wasn't sure how to respond to this, so just nodded awkwardly. The house had one story, not including a small basement. Robin's room was above ground so he could have a window through which to visit with his animals, since they weren't allowed inside.
"You've got a front yard and everything." Levi gestured to the grass in front of him. "My house has a sidewalk in front of it."
"I enjoy the forest, since it's a way for me to see the animals without having to go too far. I've got a window on the side of the house closest to the forest. These guys are regulars." He gestured towards the group of animals.
"My window faces a few trees too. They just cut them down though. These construction guys are building something back there." Levi replied, looking at the animals.
"That's terrible! I wish people wouldn't destroy animal habitats…" He stroked Arbor's head; there was clearly a strong bond between them. "If anyone tried to cut down this forest, I'd do everything in my power to stop them." He put his forehead against Arbor's, seemingly a way of promising this to him.
Levi shrugged. "It was only a few trees, not a forest." (sorry I have to go)
(Nooooooooooo)
"Still, birds could have been living there, and they were kicked out of their homes." The birds with them chirped from Arbor's antlers.
(actually never mind I might just be really slow to respond)

Levi nodded. "Yeah, that's true." He awkwardly played with his hair, unsure what to say.
"Should we go inside? I can open my window so we can still be with the animals, since they can't come inside. My dad's allergic."
He shrugged. "Sure. I didn't really have anything to do today so as long as I'm home before six…"
Robin led him to his room. The room was simple, with few things on the blue walls. There were shelves for books, a couple pictures, and the window. He walked over to the window and slid it open, the animals quickly appearing inside of it.
Levi looked around. "You're room even reminds me of outside."
Robin smiled. "That's the way I like it. I find nature very relaxing." He pet Papaver through the window. "I wish I were allowed to bring these guys inside.."
"Well…you could probably just let them in your room and not the rest of the house."
"Well, the birds have done that sometimes, but I think my parents would notice deer running about in my room." Acorn perched himself on the windowsill.

"Hm…that's true." Levi leaned against the wall and patted Acorn.

Robin sat down on his bed, rubbing his sore chest. He hoped his rib would heal soon, it made breathing painful.
"Are you sure you're alright?" Levi asked politely.
"Y-yeah, just… sore." Blackberry flew into the room and landed on Robin's shoulder, chirping quietly.
He nodded. "So I didn't want to say it earlier but…your name is…Gabriel?"
"Hmm? Oh, yeah. 'Gabriel Robin Jones' is my full name. My brother is Grayson, so I guess they sort of fit together." He shrugged. "Most people call me Robin though, partially because of the whole… animal thing."
Levi laughed a little. "Makes sense. You look more like a Robin than a Gabriel."
Robin nodded. "And red hair." He pet Blackberry with his index finger. "Do you know what kind of birds these are? All three are different of course." He clearly knew what they were, but was curious as to whether Levi knew bird species.
