"You're ridiculous," Likah declared, shaking her head with a smile.

"You're ridiculously…" Cameron trailed off, his beam fading somewhat. Thank god I caught myself.

Lilah looked at him expectantly. "Ridiculously…?"

Cameron shook his head and busied himself with the cheesecake again. "Nevermind," He said too quickly, turning a faint red.

"Okay…" Lilah frowned, curious, and went back to eating.

Cameron cut another slice of cheesecake, well aware of the heat in his face.

I cannot fall for her. I can't.

But you already have! Protested Williams.

NO!

Lilah continued to eat in silence, occasionally casting worried glances at Cameron. He was being pretty quiet, and she wondered what was going through his mind.

SHE'S GOING TO FIND OUT SOMEHOW! He screamed at himself as he shoved another forkful in his mouth.
No denying you love her, huh?

(Yeah, dinner's great! That's where I was, actually. We went out. It was unexpected.)

Lilah bit her lip as she dished up a piece of cheesecake for herself. What was he thinking? Why wasn't he saying anything?

(Ahhhh)

Cameron cleared his throat. "Sorry, so, um… planes." Cameron blurted the first subject that came to mind.

The hell? PlAnES?

"Planes? What about them?" Lilah asked, giving him an odd look.

"Well, they stay up, don't they?" He asked with a painfully awkward laugh.
Cameron wrinkled his brow, reminding himself forcefully of Arthur Weasley.

(Is that a HP reference?
…I've neither read the ions not seen the movies…
Also, sorry if I randomly disappear. People are coming over.)

Lilah raised her eyebrows. "Yeah, they do…"

(Yes, one of HPs characters is Authur Weasley and his life ambition is to find out how planes stay up.
The HP books are really good.
Okay, no problem!)

"Yep…" Cameron grinned awkwardly and punched himself subtly. Whyyyy me whyyyy

(Lol. Okay, then.)

"All right. Well, tell me about yourself, Prince Cameron," Lilah said, her tone and smile teasing.

Apparently I like planes.
"Um…" Cameron blinked at her. "You know, I don't know much about you."

"And I don't know much about you, other than your family expects you to 'end the line' and you like pie," the Princess said, a hint of laughter in her voice.

"I hardly know anything other than your name!" Cameron protested.

"You know that I like cheesecake. But I suppose you're right." Lilah looked off, thinking. "Well, what do you want to know?"

Cameron scoffed. "I know you like cheesecake and you have a garden. Do you have any pets?"

Lilah smiled. "I have a Germain shepherd named Lilac. She's almost two. What about you? Any pets?"

(Ppooof!)

Cameron grinned. "Yeah, I have a St. Bernard named Lily. She's only a puppy, almost eight months."

(I'm so sorry!!! I was at work, but I didn't even know I had to work today until it was twenty minutes until I was supposed to start! I was not happy about that…)

"Aww. I like Saint Bernards. They're sweet," Lilah said, smiling. "So… I also have a twin brother named Liam."
