"Yeah, but I probably could've. My immortality isn't… as efficient as the other Gods. The God of Hunting isn't as important as the others."

Deleted user

"No more of that. The point is, you scared me, and we have to go home." She shook her head.

Deleted user

(what if like everyone has one trait that is more developed than the rest and so they can speak to it, of sorts, Elise's is Conscience and Havenwood's is Jealousy or something? And Jealousy's been gone for a bit but he returns? Idk.)
"Can't you go any faster?" Despite Elise being small, she's still faster than him in his injured state.

Deleted user

(I was thinking about that, and I might just have like, the God-perfect portion of him try and perfect him. If that makes sense)

Havenwood sighed. "Why don't you just leave me here to die?"

Deleted user

*Like, the plastics trying to beautify someone and make them all polished and rule-following? Yeah.)
Elise turns to gape at Havenwood. "You better tell me that was sarcasm."

Deleted user

(Well, no, more like the God that people think that he's supposed to be. Like all high and mighty, basically, what people expect Gods to be.)

Havenwood grumbled something and didn't respond.

Deleted user

(like…controlling?)
"Repeat that, please. Louder." Elise set her lips in a firm line and stood in front of him.

Deleted user

(It'll explain itself once I get the chance.)

Havenwood glared at her. "Let's just continue walking."

Deleted user

"I didn't say anything. Let's go." He started limping again.

Deleted user

"Yes, you did. And you're telling me." Elise walks with him but doesn't stop.

Deleted user

Havenwood twitched and didn't answer.
Don't be rude to the lady, Artemis. Snapped a rather feminine voice.

Deleted user

"'Cuse you? Who was that?" Elise's head whipped around.
(I like that she's feminine that sounded weird but Havenwood with a sassy woman counselor is the best)

Deleted user

(yes I was thinking the same thing, like that shit would be funny as hell)

"I don't know," Havenwood growled.

Deleted user

"That didn't sound like any of the gods I know." She studied his face. "You do know. You're being too protective about it, that's what gives you away." She crossed her arms. "Why are you keeping so many things from me all of a sudden?"

Deleted user

(wait but what's the name of his trait? Like its actual name? Like Elise's is Conscience?)

Deleted user

(I might name her Perfection or some kind of synonym for it.)

"I don't know," Havenwood grunted again, continuing to limp on, squishing the fish in his hand.

Deleted user

(Perfection is good, what about Polish? Or Sleek?)
"You do know. It wasn't Conscience and I don't think there's anyone else around, it wasn't me or you. But you know." She squinted at him. "Don't make me mad, please."

Deleted user

(Mmmm no I'll look at some stuff.)

Havenwood shook his head. "I don't know, why can't you understand that?"

Deleted user

"I would drop it if only you weren't so terribly bad at lying." She insists, keeping his pace.
(I think Perfection is good. What if Conscience and Perfection ganged up on one of them?)

Deleted user

(The best person to do that would probably be Havenwood, since he's already kinda shaky with Perfection around)

"I'm not lying, Elise."

Deleted user

(Elise is kinda emotionally unstable but she's had enough trauma already so sure.)
"If it happens again, you have to tell me." But Elise dropped the subject, helping him walk again.
(My space key is SQUEAKY AND IT'S DRIVING ME INSANE)

Deleted user

(Sounds goooood. also oof)

Havenwood limped in pain filled silence, biting his tongue angrily.

Deleted user

"You bit your tongue. You are hiding something. I'm not gonna press it, but…if something's hurting you besides the giant fall thing, I'd like to know." She responded.
(make Perfection speak up this is getting dull)

Deleted user

(uGh I WAS GOING TO HOLD ON)

You'd better tell her. Hissed the voice.
Shut up. Havenwood growled back.

Deleted user

(I is impatient)
'Cuse me, who was that? Elise asks. She just knew Havenwood was hiding something. He was a terrible liar.

Deleted user

It's no one, Elise.
Mhm, you say so, honey. Gods, lying to your girlfriend.

Deleted user

Again - who are you? Elise asks, not meeting Havenwood's eyes.

Deleted user

Havenwood wasn't looking at her anyway, just limping forward determinedly.
Me? No, I think Havenwood should tell you.
