Mkay…tell me when you see the soldier's monument, and we'll head…east from there? Yeah, east.
Mkay…tell me when you see the soldier's monument, and we'll head…east from there? Yeah, east.
Okie He laughs.
(what time of year is it because in Christmastime we hang lights on the soldier's monument almost like a tent, the monument's like an obelisk of sorts and it's really pretty.)
(Chirstmas works)
(yay.)
You can see it pretty easy - it's strung with lights. Just tell me when - should see it out your window.
Yeah, I see it now… He replies
Cool. Isn't it beautiful? Hayley makes a sharp turn towards the monument lights.
Yeah it is. Not as beautiful as you though He snickers
Aw, puppy. If only you weren't encased by shadows, I might not think you're the grim reaper. The lights illuminate her face for a split second before she makes a turn east, towards the bars of Indianapolis.
Uh huh He smiles, shaking his head.
Here we are. Since we're stealing, we don't need to pay for parking, either. Marlene got out of the car and held Antione's door open for him. Everyone in here is drunk, so we can stage a fight, I guess. Make them think we're actually…well, we are the real thing, but you know what I mean.
Oh trust me, sugar. This isn't my first bar fight. You steal, I'll fight. He answers.
Don't get hurt, little puppy. She opens the door. Mission: On.
As if. He smirks. Let's enjoy ourselves.
The people at the bar (all drunk by now) gawk at Antione's shadows and Marlene's wings. Shame I wasn't wearing my dress. Pick a fight, puppy.
yes ma'am. "What are you staring at?" He growls at a tough looking guy.
Oof. Marlene strides over to the edge of the bar, practically leaning against the gate to the kitchens. "So," She leaned against the countertop and smiled soothingly at the barman. "Grim Reaper over there causing nothing but trouble, here I am trying to keep things in shape." She rolled her eyes. "Got any troubles for your local guardian angel?"
He smirks and begins a fight, taking on the buff dude that was looking at him funny.
(Sorry. I thought I responded.)
The barman glances around. No one is looking at either of them at the moment. Wanting to seize his chance, he drags Marlene behind the bar. She smiles.
Reaper growls as he hits the wall, hissing in pain. "You'll pay for that mortal." He hisses, his scythe appearing in his hand. He wasn't actually going to hurt someone.
Marlene grabs a barrel of champagne, barely holding it up. She smiles slyly. “If you drink all this in under a minute, I’ll kiss you.” She hands over the barrel.
He manages to get most people out of the bar and smirks, chuckling lowly.
The bartender puts down the barrel, burps extremely loudly, looks dreamily at Marlene for a moment, and then crumples to the floor, drunk to the point of unconsciousness. Marlene smirks and heads into the back room. Cleared, puppy? Are you hurt?
Nope. I'm good. Ready to go, angel? He cracks his neck and rolls his shoulders.
I will be once we get this champagne into the trunk, She replied, lugging two cases in her hands. There's five more in the back room.
Got it. He replies happily. He walks towards the back and gets the crates, humming casually.
Once the crates are in the car (as well as Antione and Marlene,) she gunns the engine. Ready to head home?
Yes ma'am. he purrs in reply.
You shouldn't call me ma'am. I'm nod married…yet. They pull off of the curb with a screech and whizz around the city's hundreds (literally, it's the roundabout capital of the world) of roundabouts.
Yet is the keyword, love. He purrs.
