Uriah opened the door for Luna to go in first. He looked over and saw Cyrus trying to fix up Alex. "How's it going in here? Also I brought someone to see you."
Uriah opened the door for Luna to go in first. He looked over and saw Cyrus trying to fix up Alex. "How's it going in here? Also I brought someone to see you."
Alex weakly waved to Luna "Hey Luna, how ya been?"
Eira came back into the room a few minutes later, a couple ice packs in hand, “Here…” She said, giving them to Cyrus,
Uriah looked to see Eira, but couldn't get the image of her walking away from him out of his head. As soon as he realized what he was thinking he turned away. I can't think like that. "Anything I can help with?" He needed a distraction.
Luna smiled back and nodded, "F-fine. H-how are you doing?"
"I feel like I've been hit by a truck… but at least I found you guys…" he clutched his stomach as if his insides would fall out.
"Y-Yeah, at least you did," Luna responded with relief.
(Question, how bad are the injuries? I don't wanna start just making stuff up… And if they're super serious, they literally would require surgery for him to even likely survive. Sorry… I'm just trying to be realistic, and being a prospective doctor doesn't help my case lol)
Cyrus pulled Alex's shirt up just enough so he could see where the bruising over his broken ribs had started to spread. He carefully started to lay the ice pack over the worst of it, in hopes this would at least get the swelling to go down. He continued to tend to the stab wounds and checked them for any debris or anything else that might need to be cleaned out before he did anything else.
"You're still bleeding some…" Cyrus murmured, "I might have to stitch it up, but I'm hoping that won't be the case."
(the only thing that's severe is the shattered rib, the stab wounds are deep but not life-threatening)
(Damn, okay.)
(i could make them worse if you want to try surgery)
(No, the thing is… a shattered rib does require surgery, partially because it can affect nearby organs.)
(Oh, should I just make it a fracture?)
(Doesn't matter, it's really up to you)
(it'll just be a fracture, it'll just feel worse because it's been moved)
(Haha, okay. That'll work.)
Uriah watched Cyrus for a little bit but, felt he was in the way. He walked over to Eira and stood next to her. "How are you holding up?" It must be a shock to her, to see Alex and in these kinds of situations. Although Alex's injuries are worse, he felt the Luna may have seen more stuff that made her a bit more emotionally hurt. It must have been hard for the both of them.
“I-“ Eira started to speak but cut herself off. She didn’t even know how she was holding up. There were so many emotions running though her all she could do was take Uriah’s hand a squeeze a little, “I don’t know…” She whispered.
Alex painfully lifted his head so he could see Eria "I kept my promise…" he put his head back down with a relived sigh
“Gosh you’re an idiot,” But Eira let out a small laugh, “Rest, Alex. We can talk once you’re better.”
He chuckled "I made you laugh though."
“Yeah… you did,” Eira rubbed at her face with both hands, “If you weren’t in so much pain I’d hug the living daylights outta you.”
(i got to go for the night)
"Heh, yeah… me… too…" he went limp as the pain made him pass out again.
"Right…" Uriah squeezed Eira's hand back but let go after. "Well Alex, I hope you get better." He couldn't stand to be in here. "I'll see you all later." He needed to get away. As he walked down the hall he realized he didn't need to stay and that he could go back to his company. "Guess I have no reason to stay." He laughed.
Luna sighed, Alex was here and fairly fine. She slowly snuck out of the room and into the hall. She needed to be alone, which way was her room again? This way, right. She continued her way down the hall with her hood up and trying not to make a lot of sound.
Uriah snuck off to the roof. He always loved high places. The wind and smell, calmed him and you could see amazing things from high up. He sat down, with Freedom next to him. "What's wrong with me?" He lead his head back against the wall and sighed again.
Luna arrived at her room. She put the pen and paper on the desk in the room. As she looked around the whole room felt suffocating, everything felt too familiar. Too… Painful right now. She let out a long sigh, maybe outside would be better. She opened the lone window and climbed out to the ground below. Once down their Luna let out a deep breath and sat down leaning back against the wall. Luna sighed deeply and just looked out to the forest, taking in the sights.
Uriah saw Luna crawl out a window and climbed to the ground. "Hey Luna! Can I join you?" He wasn't sure if she could hear him, but it was worth a shot. They were both alone, so he thought maybe they could keep each other company.
Luna looked up and saw Uriah. She waved for him to come down, not trusting her voice to carry that far. And she honestly wouldn't mind a little company at the moment.
Uriah shot up and started to climb down the building. Freedom stay on the roof and rested. She liked it up there as much as he did. "Hey, what are you doing all alone out here?"
