(Uh, she didn't actually stand up yet… but, okay! We can pretend she did! :P)

Kenzie giggled as Hunter led her to her seat. When she smelled the food, her stomach growled again, and she glanced at Hunter. After giving him a sheepish smile, she dug into her food. She didn't really care what he thought about the way she ate at this point, all she really cared about was getting the food into her stomach.

Hunter looked at Kenzie with a grin, watching as she ate. She looked adorable even when she was eating.
Chuckling to himself quietly, he dug into his food.
“After this, do you want to check up on Luna’s house?” Hunter asked after swallowing his first bite. “Even though I paid my maid extra to do the cleaning and stuff, I should check to see if everything’s okay.”

Kenzie nodded, not even bothering to look up from her lasagna. She shoveled food into her mouth like she hadn't eaten in weeks. When she realized how she must look, she glanced up at Hunter, her mouth still full of food, and blushed. Again.

I must look so dumb, she thought, cringing inwardly and looking back down at her food.

“You look adorable,” Hunter commented, reaching out to wipe the sauce from her nose. “Even when you’re eating. You’re going to be the death of me, Kenz.”

Agh! Stop reading my mind! Kenzie thought in shock as he read her mind for the second time in the past few hours.

She finished her food and gave him a small smile, which then grew into a playful smirk.

"You don't look half-bad, yourself, Hotstuff," she said with a wink.

“Hotstuff?” He smirked. “It’s okay, I’ll give you points for trying.” He reached out once again, but only to flick her on the forehead.
