Quincy and Jade landed back at the entrance of the village. Farron and Aurelius were talking along with a new girl. something about sacrifice? She walked up to the group Jade following behind her, "What's going on?"
“We’re discussing how the world turns…” Farron muttered, lying back down again.
Aurelius looked over his shoulder at Quincy. "One of us," he explained briefly.
"Wonderful," Quincy sighed, "Remind me what that means?"
Mara laughed a little at what Farron said. She thought his sarcasm was hilarious especially for a guy so serious. Mara turned around to see a girl walking up to them.
"She's got a… dragon…?" Aurelius replied slowly.
"O-Kay," Quincy sighed, "Geez, I'm not stupid. I'm Quincy and this is Jade. Who are you?"
(By the way, Quincy acts like a girl, talks like a girl, but looks like a guy. Sad story.)
(sorry, i've decided to stay)
Arioch and Zuriel emerge from the forest "gods damn this dense forest." he looks around at the other riders "oh… hi."
(Okay, great!)
(Great!)
"I'm Mara, and this is Riven." It was nice to see another girl around. Mara started to feel a bit out of place here. She was the only one with white hair and pale skin and her dragon couldn't even fly.
"Nice to meet you. If you ever need anything don't hesitate to ask," Quincy gave her a quick wink.
Jade's tail hit the back of her rider's head, Stop it.
"Stop what?"
Doing that thing.
“Did you want to check out the village at least? You’re not obligated to stay, but I think you might like it,” Aurelius offered.
"I would love too!" A bright smile crossed her face. "Riven here can't fly though, so we'll have to stay on the ground." Riven's tail hit the back of her leg. Don't tell people that! "It's true though and they'll figure it out sooner or later."
Arioch began to think: do they not…. see me? he shrugged it off, not really caring, and walked next to Aurelius
Quincy looked to other new girl, "Hello! Didn't see you there."
“Damn…” Aurelius muttered, “Arioch, did you happen to see where Lucky went?”
"sadly no… but now that we have more numbers and more eyes we can find her easier."
(I’ve got class in the morning, so sadly I have to leave, but I should be back tomorrow.)
(Night!)
(Night!)
Lucky and frost saw a group of people and landed by them “hey friends!”
"Well, that answers my question," Aurelius said, giving a good look at Frost.
He sheathed his sword at last and leaned up against Nox.
"oh lovely." Arioch got on Zuriel "so… what now?"
"I think patrol time was almost over anyway. We should probably all get back to the village," Aurelius replied, "We can introduce Mara to the elders."
"i think we've got enough energy for that." Zuriel nodded this is gonna be fun "it always is with the new riders."
"We haven't had many new riders since Val came here last summer," Aurelius said, "It's kind of exciting when we have new people around."
(Okay, so I'm definitely thinking of adding a second character of mine. She's an antagonist, but no one knows it yet. And since the RP is fairly small, if anyone else wants to add a second character, I won't be opposed to it.)
"So, you dont get new people often?" Mara was standing next to Riven playing with the feathers on the too of his head. "At least I'll be helping with something." Riven shook his head to make her stop. I'm not sure how useful I'll be since I can't fly.
“Not very. It’s not easy to stumble upon our village, and even if it was, we mostly house those who can speak to dragons. It’s a rare gift, so the population of the village reflects that,” Aurelius explained. He began to climb back onto Nox.
"Oh. I guess we'll just follow you then." Mara climbed onto Riven's back. "I need something to hold on to you better so I'm not holding onto your neck all the time." Riven walked up next to Nox.
