We had an active shooter drill today at school, and if you've seen the Seinfeld episode where George pushes the kids and old women out of his way to escape a fire, it was like that on steroids. I was trying to lead my class to safety because there's a very cute girl I wanted to impress out of the goodness of my heart, and so I led them towards the nearest door. Now, little did I know that the 'shooter' was at an alternative school down the hill from mine, because they gave only the abbreviations over the loudspeakers and I couldn't hear. Long story short, me and three girls ended up in the front courtyard, the only people there, and would have died if it was a real threat.
