He almost looked like he was going to cry, “Yeah I just gotta get out of here or something ,” he never took his eyes off of Jess.

"I did. Magically."
He shook his head, “You’re ridiculous,”
"Yes but you still love me."
Lillian tugged on his hand moved towards the door, "Well come on then. Let's get out of here."

“Very much so, yes,”
(Did Camie die?)
(Wouldn't doubt it.)
"Good, because I love you too." She smiled, cuddling into his side.
Wren noticed Jess come in. (Ty, can I do Jess?)
(Sure!)
Jess stalked over to Wren.
"Come on," she muttered darkly in her ear.
Wren didn't flinch. "Why?"
"You know what you did!" Jess snarled.
Darren looked back at Jess, "Is there a problem here?" he asked bravely.
"Good, because I love you too." She smiled, cuddling into his side.
"I have an idea,"
"Oh? And what is said idea?"
"Anti prom…"
"I'm sorry, what? What even is that?"
"It's from for people who don't want to go to prom," he laughed, "It involves alcohol,"
"Oh okay so it's a bunch of drunk people, please elaborate."
"No, we don't need people it can just be us. It's just a prom but less peoplely."
"Less peoplely." She chuckled. "I like the sound of that."
Darren looked back at Jess, "Is there a problem here?" he asked bravely.
Wren pursed her lips. "Well, if I didn't, then I wouldn't have said it." Oh, that's good. Remember that and write it down for a song later.
"No. No problem. Wren and I were just leaving," Jess snapped, pulling Wren from the corner.
Darren looked back at Jess, "Is there a problem here?" he asked bravely.
Lillian wrapped her arm around his. To show she was there for him.
;)
(sigh ;)
Wren yelped slightly, but she obediently followed Jess away, shooting Lillian and Darren a confident look over her shoulder. The confidence was a facade. She was secretly terrified.
Darren looked at her with curiosity before taking Lillian and walking out. He didn't care anymore, she could do whatever she wanted.
Jess dragged Wren to where no one could see or hear and slammed her into the lockers. "What's your deal?" Jess demanded, pressing her forearm to Wren's throat threateningly.
Wren gasped. "I… I don't- I don't know what you're talking about."
"Liar!" Jess accused sharply.
Lillian was glad they were leaving. She could drop her damn façade and just go back to being herself. Well, maybe later.
Darren ran his hands through his hair, "Sorry, it was too much in there,"
Lillian nodded in understanding, "Yeah. Should we head home?"
Wren gritted her teeth.
Jess narrowed her eyes and grinned evilly. Her nails scratched at the fabric of Wren's dress and snagged on the lacey sleeve.
"No!" Wren's eyes widened.
Jess didn't stop. She sliced at the dress until it was held together by threads and scrappy bits of fabric covered Wren's body.
"That'll show you not to mess with me, Wren. Remember, I know all the dirt on you." Jess snickered and sauntered back off to the dance. Wren stayed behind, her head shamefully in her hands, and fighting off tears.
"If you want to," he ran his hand over his lips again.
Fire burned in Wren's stomach.
