Darren’s toes curled, his body stiffening. Even his lips became slightly tensed as he kissed her.

Paige opened her eyes but couldn't pull away to ask him what was wrong. "Darren?" she asked his lips, and the name was absorbed into them.

Darren pulled back to look at her, “Yeah?”

"What's wrong?" she asked gently.

“Wrong? There’s nothing wrong,” He readjusted himself a little awkwardly.

"You just got really tense all of a sudden," she murmured, burying her face in his neck.

“Sorry,” he wasn’t used to taking things slow, he was the top jock at school, a literal player.

"Mmmm." She nuzzled against him lovingly.

He rolled so she was on top of him, much better for cuddling. Besides, he was afraid of crushing her.

She giggled as he rolled, holding tight onto him. Once they were positioned well enough, she cupped his face with her hands and kissed him.

Darren smiled, "Hey there," he laughed slightly with his words.

"Really?" He looked around, "Is there someone here I can't see or?"

"It's you, you idiot!" Paige giggled.

"Ouch! Abuse but yeah I know, I was kidding." he smiled, "Give me time, love is new to me,"
