Darren turned around, "Thank you," she seemed familiar and at least better than talking to Jessica Quinn. Anything was better than having to talk to someone he couldn't even look in the eyes.

(What did you do?)
"You earned it," she added, stoking a little extra flame on the fire. Jess had been so sure that she was going to win.
(^)
Lillian followed after Darren. She stuck close to his side.
(I have a cold so my voice is all messed up so… When I was saying goodnight… Just before I left his room… I said in a deep voice I said 'goodnight I love you' and I was impressed with myself so I looked at his Superman mural on the wall and said to it 'Goodnight, Batman loves you' then he started crying… He hates Batman and he thought I was Batman. Lol)
(That is the best reason someone could hate you. I'm sorry, it's great.)
"You earned it," she added, stoking a little extra flame on the fire. Jess had been so sure that she was going to win.
"What's your name again, I apologize I'm blanking,"
(I had to convince him I wasn't Batman… Lol I was laughing.)
(This has been Bedtime Stories! Starring: Darren's brother with ASD! yay!)
(Lol)
Lillian could feel Jess's stare on her. Her skinned was crawling.
"You earned it," she added, stoking a little extra flame on the fire. Jess had been so sure that she was going to win.
"What's your name again, I apologize I'm blanking,"
"Wren. Brasston." Wren caught Jess's glare from the corner of her eyes. Whelp, here goes nothing. "You two are the perfect couple."
(Honestly this…)
(Is going to be my entire science presentation…)

Darren cleared his throat, "Thank you," He smiled. He could feel Jess's anger on him, she'd want revenge, she always did. "Yeah… You two are perfect, I'm glad you found someone to make you happy," Jess chimed in almost too happily.
(It's a sweet dank Valley between them two Rivers! TASTE THE SUN!)
The sickly sweet tone dripping from Jess's words made it all too clear that Wren would get it later. The girl kept a strong shell, though, and chirped, "You're welcome!"
Lillian felt her eyes narrow slightly. Hostility was radiating from Jess.
(I love that video.)
(It's the second best 20 minutes of my life)
(The sun is a deadly lazer.)
"Darren can I talk to you for a moment? Maybe… Away from our current company?" she asked sweetly. Darren sighed, unsure if what he should say but he was never good at the 'no' game.
(The sun is a deadly lazer.)
(I can't walk on land and there's no food so I don't care)
(Will you learn to walk if there's plants up there?)
Lillian gave Darren a quick glance. It would be fine right?
(I honestly love the Persian Empire though…)
(Same it's awesome.)
Darren shrugged, should be… "I'll be right back okay?" he made sure to peck Lillian's lips instead of his typical cheek kiss just to show possession, he might be ridiculous but he was ridiculous with a cause.
Wren hesitated. She wasn't sure if she should follow Jess or not. She took a step in the direction Jess was heading.
Lillian grinned back at him, worry shone in her eyes but her voice stayed calm, "Okay."
His eyes seemed to speak back before he walked away, 'it'll be fine, promise'. He followed Jess into the guys bathroom on the farther end of the school, of course she knew that nobody would be there. "Who the hell is that?"
"Lillian? She's my girlfriend," Darren said calmly, just stating facts.
"What about us?"
"Us?" Darren laughed, "There is no us, Us ended awhile ago,"
"It didn't have to,"
Lillian moved away from the main crowd and off towards the edge of the room. She took a deep breath, everything would be fine.
Wren stayed back, awkwardly with Lillian. As much as she hated to align herself with the bratty popular girls - most of them were, at least - she didn't feel as… confident without them. It was like it was sewn in her identity.
