"No, no, Tris what are you doing, Tris don't do it-and she did it. Dumbass." She chuckled, leaning back against the couch and taking another handful of popcorn. She'd completely forgotten he was there at this point.
Convel didn't mind, he loved this movie. He pawed at the bowl until it tipped over causing a little bit of popcorn to spill onto her lap so he could eat it.
I'm only 30 seconds in and I'm already a little lost…
Let's call the new RP, "Shut up and let me see your Jazz Hands"
She nearly jumped in surprise before noticing it was him. "Goddammit you gave me a heart attack." She laughed, willing her heart rate to slow.
(No no no let's go with 'It's the summer of 2019…')
He munched on the spilled popcorn from her lap, not noticing when a piece got stuck to the moisture of his nose.
(Inhales I'm okay… Trust me)
She removed the piece of popcorn and ate it herself. "Can I have my fiance back? It's a lot easier to cuddle and actually talk to a person."
He looked at her in defeat and hopped off the couch, trotting up the stairs with a look of 'make me'.
She rolled her eyes with a smile. "Fine, you do you love. I was going to offer some of my candy but I guess I'll just sit here and eat my candy by myself because dogs can't have chocolate."
He perked his ears up and jumped back on the couch. Chocolate wouldn't hurt him but he just wanted food.
"But I suppose I'll just have it by myself." She pet him as she broke into a Crunch bar.
"No, without me you would be soaring. I hold you back, I'm the broken one. Your life was fine before me, it-it would be better without me," Lillian could feel her voice quiver, "Darren without Lillian is still someone too take notice of. Lillian without Darren is still a no one. I probably only got put as prom queen because I'm dating you. Scratch that, I know it is."
"Yeah but who honestly gives a shit about prom queen? Who gives a shit what these people think of you or what anyone thinks of you for that matter. I'm not here so people will take notice of me I'm here because I love you and that's all that matters. You don't hold me back and you never have, you aren't forcing me to be here I am here out of will and I'm sorry you think I was fine before you came… You didn't know me before,"
Lillian flinched as he said fine. She looked down, "Sorry. I-I forgot. Just with all these people, and everything that's happened. I'm really more scared than anything else at the moment. I guess I'm letting my insecurities get to me. Sorry."
“No it’s okay. I shouldnt have gotten mad,” he sighed. He was literally fighting about how much he loved her, stupid thing to fight about.
Lillian hesitantly looked back up at him, "And I shouldn't be so insecure about this."
"It's okay, really it is," he hated how short his temper had been recently.
"But I suppose I'll just have it by myself." She pet him as she broke into a Crunch bar.
He licked his lips and pushed closer, his nose nearly touching the chocolate.
"Should we leave this for later?" Lillian suggested. She wanted to forget and focus on something else.
"Or not… It's not really a fight right?" he didn't want to push something away that was important to her but they were fighting about who loved who more and whether or not they deserved each other.
"Right," Lillian nodded. It was stupid anyway, "We don't have to."
She pulled the bar away, biting back her amused smirk. "Ah ah ah. No no no, you can't have any, my sweet puppers." She kissed his nose, giggling.
"If you want to talk about it at home, I'm here," he laid his head back down on her shoulder.
Lillian nuzzled back against his neck, "No, I'm fine."
She pulled the bar away, biting back her amused smirk. "Ah ah ah. No no no, you can't have any, my sweet puppers." She kissed his nose, giggling.
He gave her his sweetest puppy look, his eyes even seemed to water a bit against the blue as he whimpered softly.
