(Lol and now I stalk. Or I can be the doctor lol)
(I think you be the doctor or something until she wakes up maybe)
(I shall be called Dr. Brown [creative right])
(I leave for six hours and someone almost died. Why am I not surprised?)
Belle got the text and nearly dropped her phone.
"Riv! Riv, we need to go to the hospital. Now," she shouted, dropping what she was doing to put her jacket and shoes on.
(it's become a normal thing for this rp)
Riverpaw shot up from the couch, standing there in a panic for a moment before running to Belle's room to find her jacket and some normal pants. "W-why?! What happened?!" She called.
(Jesus I leave for one day)
Belle pulled her jacket and shoes on, then called back, "It's Aspen. She was in an accident."
Riverpaw pulled on a pair of jeans, almost tripping over Tsunami a few times as the pup ran around and jumped at her worriedly. "Tsunami, stop it." She hissed, grabbing her jacket form next to the bed and tying it around her waist, then she took a ponytail holder from Belle's nightstand and pulled her hair back. "Do you know if she's okay?" She asked as she ran into the living room with Tsunami in her arms.
Rigel sped to the next stop, only sparing a glance at the newfound dents in his shiny bike. He grabbed the next hidden shovel, digging, putting all his force into each motion. I should’ve have gone after her, I should’ve gone to the hospital. The gang will wonder why I hadn’t gone, why I’m still out when I watched Aspen in the accident. I shouldn’t be here, digging up graves pointlessly. I’m probably not going to find Kate. But the other side of his mind shouted the opposite. Kate was your everything, and you’re just going to give up before you even started? There’s nothing you can do for Aspen, what happened happened. You can still find Kate, still bring her back to her family, still right the wrongs you committed. When the shovel hit the body, Rigel heard a bone snap. He had shoved the digging tool right through a rib bone. He dug more around it. The skin had been rotted away, but the t-shirt was still there. Slightly. Though it was torn and rotted, it wasn’t what she had been wearing when she died. So Rigel moved on, thoughts of guilt spinning around his head at each stop he made to dig up bones.
"I don't know. The text didn't say," Belle replied, tapping her foot impatiently.
Riverpaw put Tsunami down on the couch and held her still. "We'll be back, okay? Please don't chew up anything." She pet the pup's back and turned to Belle. "Okay, let's go."
Belle gave a swift nod and walked briskly out the door, locking it behind Riverpaw. She made her way down to her bike as quickly as possible, pulled her helmet on and handed one to Riv, then jumped onto the bike.
"Let's go."
Riverpaw climbed onto the bike, clipping her helmet on and holding on to Belle.
Dr. Brown wipes her hands and tied back her hair. “Family of Aspen Barnes?” She asked the receptionist. The receptionist shook her head and faced the computer. Dr. Brown sighed, the poor girl.
Belle sped off toward the hospital, parking as close to the entrance as she could. She removed her helmet and strode inside, not looking at anyone or anything other than what she'd come for. She didn't want to think about the other times she'd been there. Not now, not ever.
Riverpaw followed Belle closely, gripping the older's jacket tightly. She looked up, seeing a rather concentrated look on Belle's face. "Um..h-hey, how do we find Aspen?" She asked, moving closer as someone went by with a large cart.
"We have to ask the front desk," Belle replied, right before they arrived. "Hey, we're here to see Aspen Barnes."
The receptionist looked up “relationship?”
Dr. Brown was checking Aspens vitals when she had a call. “Dr. Brown…. ok…alright”.
"We're basically family," Belle stated, leaning forward on the counter as she tapped her foot.
The receptionist shrugged “good enough. Room 325, third floor.”
Colden walked over to the receptionist desk, "Hi,"
By the time Rigel was on his seventh site, he pulled out his phone and texted Belle, ‘Have you seen Aspen yet?’ They all probably thought he was a terrible person for not being there. Rigel had so much guilt weighing his shoulders, she took a moment to sit down. All his fault. If he hadn’t gone out today, if he hadn’t needed a ride from Aspen, if he hadn’t tried to help Kate… everything would be different if he hadn’t been there. Everything would have been better off without him. He tapped his foot, waiting for a response.
Belle pulled her phone out of her pocket as she led Riverpaw to Aspen's room.
BELLE: Not yet. On my way right now. Where are you?
Rigel typed back, leaning against his motorcycle. I’m a terrible person, I should be there, I should- Rigel sent the text.
RIGEL: I’m not there.
Belle frowned at the text.
BELLE: Yeah, obviously. I know that much. Why not?
Rigel frowned at himself. He couldn’t tell her that he was looking for Kate’s body. That would lead to more questions. Instead of texting back he started calling Belle, chewing on his lip as he waited for her to pick up.
(What did I miss??)
(What did I miss??)
(Belle and Riv were making pancakes, then Aspen got into an accident on her motorcycle and is now in the hospital. Rigel is still digging up bodies, but Belle and Riverpaw are at the hospital, making their way to Aspen's room.)
(Rigel’s grave digging while Aspen is in the hospital because she got into an accident. Belle and Riverpaw and Colden are going to go visit Aspen. Rigel texted The whole gang about the accident)
