They all waited patiently or less than for Belles video.

Lillian was still wondering if she deserved this title of prom queen. There were plenty of other girls prettier than her, more popular and outgoing than her, and definitely more girls known to be nicer than her. Lillian really didn't deserve this, o-or Darren did she?

Darren looked over to Lillian with a smile, just a simple smile. He cared more about her than watching a video anyways so he didn’t look back. He squeezed her hand a little, “Love you,”

Lillian could feel her heart ripping itself. No, she did deserve this. She loved him, "Love you too."

"Are you excited?" She had won prom queen, what reason did she have not to be, right?

Lillian shrugged slightly and said in a soft voice, "I guess…"

She sighed and pressed play. It started in the old abandoned playground that Belle had taken Ryan to. Jasmine set the camera up, pressed her hand over her mouth to suppress her laughter, and sat on a tree stump by the main two. Belle and Cooper. This was taken back when they were still together. He had one arm around her waist and the other laced with hers while she placed her other hand on his shoulder. He seemed to be teaching her something. "5, 6, 7, 8, come on it's not that hard." He chuckled. "Shush! I can't slow dance to save my life." She huffed with a smile. "It's just a box step, pretty basic." "Not my fault I missed that class, you kind of kept me here." "Well you're never gonna learn with that attitude. You have 3 days before this competition, doll, you have to learn." "I know, I know."

Lillian could here the video start to play. Her attention was still on Darren.

The practice went on, it seemed perfect. Just a cute couple learning how to dance. It went on when he suddenly twirled her and because she wasn't expecting it, her ankles twisted together and she stumbled, he barely caught her in time. "I got you doll, I got you." He laughed. "Don't do that! You're evil." She giggled, laying her head on his chest. He lifted her chin in hand, tilting her face up so their eyes met and kissed her. "I love you doll." "I love you too." "Awww! It's so cute!" Jasmine squealed. "I could teach you too, you know." "Taught how to slow dance by my sister's boyfriend? No thanks." "He's not my boyfriend!" "Not officially. Fine, friends with benefits." "Not that either." "Oh wait you're right, you're not having sex. Then what are you?" The couple looked at each other, the same idea passing through their minds. "I'd say star-crossed lovers is a pretty good explanation."

Darren's attention was pulled away by his brother's voice, he laughed at the video, it was when Coop was decent and Belle loved him. Ryan frowned with the realization that maybe this is why she didn't like slow dancing all that much.

Lillian let out a soft sigh through her nose as her attention turned to the video. Belle and Cooper made a cute couple, at least in this video they did. It would be different now wouldn't it.

"Well whatever you two are, it's adorable but you belong to her." "Always have, always will." "Aww Coop, don't say that." "It's true doll, accept it." "Hey wait is that my-? Jazzi!" "What?" "You've been recording this?!" "Maaaybe." "Why you little-!" Jasmine popped up and ran, grabbing her phone and bolting away, laughing. Then the video cut off. "And that's that. It was the last video ever recorded with my sister still alive so I've kept it, despite the painful memories that come with it,"

Darren was smiling, it was stupid the thoughts that ran through his mind but he still liked the idea of them together. Ryan didn't seem to mind, Cooper was a good guy who had hit a rough spot. Lying ruined his life and incidentally gave Ryan the best thing that had ever happened to him.

Lillian frowned slightly, that was good reason to keep the video. But Belle didn't have to show it to everyone, it seemed to personal.
