Ellis bounced up and ran towards a pigeon that had settled itself on the sidewalk. He outstretched his arms to catch it, but as he got just within an inch, the bird panicked and flew— right into the face of an unsuspecting, leather-jacket-and-aviator-sunglass-wearing Spaniard.

"Oh, wow, Hahaha!!" The copper-haired man nearby burst into laughter.

Sabine gave a small laugh. "How could I forget? Meeting all of you…………………..that's when I started living again."

Macha bumped her lightly with her hip. "Wait– where are Ellis and Mackenzie? Also, my Papa's here, if you want to see him."

Ellis yelped quietly, flaring his wings and freezing. He expected the strangers to get angry.

"Oh, God," the chestnut haired man groaned, spitting out a feather fluff. He shot a stark flare to his friend, a chocolate-eyed glare, but his friend kept laughing lightheartedly anyhow.

"OhmygoshIleftMackenziealone!!!!!" She took off towards the flat. "Come on! I'll go see your dad after we get Kenzie!"

Macha sprinted after.

Sabine practically flew into the flat. "Mackenzie!" Mackenzie sat up on the couch sleepily. "Wha??" Sabine sighed in relief.

"Sorry…" Ellis mumbled.

"No, it's alright, kid. This guy's just.." the copper-haired man eyed his friend facetiously, "Soulless,"

"I am not." He muttered.

"Where's Ellis?!"

"He went wif Petew and Skywar." Kenzie said. Then she got up and walked over to Macha. She looked up at her with her giant brown eyes in wonder.

Macha smiled down at the little girl, kneeling down. "Hey."

"Hi!" Mackenzie chirped cheerfully.

"Yup! Who awe you?" She chirped.

"I'm Macha! I have an idea, why don't we find Ellis?" She got up and went over to the huge screen in the common room, scrolling through security cameras until she saw something that made her freeze. In a flash, she was sprinting out of the room and outside. "Cruz?! August?!"

(So what if Ellis for some reason brought Cruz and Augustus to the flat then it would be a tear-jerking reunion and Ellis and Kenzie would just be like, "wut?")
