Ryan giggled childishly. “Anyways… can I pick a Bruno Mars song too or is hat cheating. Do we need variety?” He eyed Darren for taking his artist.

"I-I don't have an ex. So no song from me," Lillian said with a slight laugh.

An unusually smug smile ran across Darren’s face as he made eye contact with his ex in the crowd. “Natalie by Bruno Mars,” he saw her face change to anger again and that brought him a little bit of pride but also hurt a little so he stopped smiling.

Lillian gripped his hand tighter. She wanted to help him, but she really couldn't.

"I won't hate you for picking the same artist, no." She shrugged.
