"It makes me feel good that somebody finds me so lovable," he replied, fixing a bit of her hair. "Y'know?"
"It makes me feel good that somebody finds me so lovable," he replied, fixing a bit of her hair. "Y'know?"
“It’s not as hard as you might think.”, she mumbled with a smile. Her face was still red.
"Well. Instead of just raging lust for my… obviously ripped bod." He commented back facetiously, "You actually appreciate me."
Fae went even redder at this. “Now I’m just offended.”, she said in mock sadness.
"Why?" He asked warmly.
“I don’t appreciate you?”, she said with a coy grin, putting her arms around his shoulders and hanging back a bit. She raised a teasing eyebrow.
"Woah, you have raging lust for me?" He returned the coy, feigned surprise of tone, loosely holding onto her arms.
Fae’s face went an even deeper shade of red. A vague spark of fear jumped up within her but she ignored it, stepping back. “I— I thought we were going for a walk?”
"Yeah," he laughed, holding his crooked smile, "You like waterfalls and creeks?" He asked.
Fae nodded. “Of course!”
"Cataractas y arroyos," he repeated in spanish, "I know one full of geodes,"
“Geodes?!” Her eyes widened. “Real ones?”
"Yeah," he laughed, "You know what they look like uncut and unpolished, right?" A slow smile creeped across his face, pulling up his lip.
“Let’s go!”, she breathed, tugging on his hand.
He walked a little faster, grinning broadly.
She followed quickly, almost running.
He began to run, then, giggling like a little girl.
Laughing as the wind whipped her face, she sprinted after him, passing her boyfriend easily.
"Woah!" He exhaled, speeding up.
Fae grinned as she flew past, clambering up a tree at the entrance of the creek to surprise him.
He came to a stop, calling up to her, "That's not fair!" Though despite his complaint, his flushed face still held a grin.
Fae waved down at him with a triumphant grin, perched in the tree like a colourful bird. “Why not?”
He placed his hands back on hs hips and feigned a glare at her.
Laughing, Fae jumped down, landing elegantly like a cat. “Come on!”, she said, pulling him forward.
He followed her lead, expression betraying his admiration of her.
(Aww)
Fae hummed Cruz’s song as she pulled him along, the trees throwing shade in fractured patches on the ground. “Which way?”
He lifted his arm t9 gesture for her.
They walked down the quaint dirt path, surrounded by budding trees and flowers. Fae smiled up at him. “You really know how to pick a spot.”
"Of course I do," he snorted. "Actually, I have a fort somewhere here too," he commented, "It's been a while, though,"
“Could I see later? I used to love making forts in the woods, now O just do it with the younger hospital kids when they’re bored.”
