Rylan gladly took a drink from one of the bartenders, and as she took a couple sips, the pain in her leg resided to a dull throb. She thought back to the Republic girl again. With her leg in this state, would she be able to get past her again? Would she be as lucky? Rylan sighed and took another sip. She looked towards Santiago. She barely knew anything about him too. {What if he's a soldier. . } Rylan thought wearily, but dismissed it, promising herself to watch him closely.

Santiago got a drink for himself as well and sipped it slowly. “Yeah, those fights are pretty wild, I’d say. Never been in one, but I try to see them when I can,” Santiago explained. He glanced around the bar, checking for people from the academy to know if he should stay partly disguised.

"Well, this is one of my main ways to get some money." Rylan started. "The slum sectors don't exactly. . . provide a lot." She leaned back and tried to mask her pain with a smile.

“Oh, you’re a part of the slums?” Santiago asked, sipping on his drink.

Flynn stirred in her sleep, as she started dreaming or more like remembering things she has heard from other people, things about the government and how they might be actually hiding something..something terrible, but she refuses to believe this, altough, something keeps telling her that those rumors might actually be true

"Yeah." Rylan nodded. "From the Tanagashi sector." It explained why she had a more ethnic look, and why her amber eyes were a little narrower and more almond shaped than others in the Lake sector.

The haze of smoke in the bar thickened, making Rylan a little dizzy. Shouting and the sound of fights filled the air as she took a sip from her drink. No Skiz fights so far. News must have spread from the one she had been at.

( so since Rylan is one of the most notorious criminals in the Republic, Flynn will find her in the morning. Should Santiago figure out that she's the actually Rylan, or will that be revealed to him when they catch her?

( okay. then we'll need to figure out how that should happen. Any ideas Santiago?

( How about, she gets into the databases and looks around for information on Rylan. When you write about hacking into the databases, I can write what the computer says. Once that happens, Alec can send her on a mission to lure Rylan out the next day.

(That sounds good, getting them by surprise like that maybe.)

“Nice,” Santiago commented as he finished his drink. He listened to the noise curiously and tugged his hood down, finally feeling at ease.

Rylan's eyes widened as Santiago's dark hair tumbled out as he took of his hood. {He's. . .} She didn't finish the thought and turned around, hoping that he wouldn't see the heat burning her cheeks.

Flynn woke up with a jump "Man i think im going crazy" she said as she stood up, cracking her bones "Well that's one uncomfortable sofa" she said

Santiago sighed and lounged back. “We should probably get out of this bar soon, I don’t think that wrap will hold up for much longer.” He nodded towards the back of her leg as he said it.

"Yeah." She replied, pushing herself up. She already had a bad history with bars and didn't want to be in one any longer. Rylan began to walk out the bar's door, trying to hide her heavy limp. "I know a place."

Santiago followed her, taking hold of her forearm to support some of her weight. “Lead the way then,” he said, smiling.
