Macha’s eyes flew open and she pulled away from Ace, cheeks flushed. “Come in.”, she called.

Sabine gave Macha a half-smile. "I'll leave you guys alone again in a second, but I just wanted to tell you Macha that I need to show you something. You can meet me in the hall outside of the hospital wing when you're done here."

Dani bit her lip, nodding. "I'm sure that you have a good reason to."

Macha nodded, cheeks pink. “I’ll be out in a sec.”

"They must have been through a lot together…" Zander mused quietly, losing himself in thought.

Skylar smiled, opening the door to Peter's room. "Peter?" she asked, running over to the bed and sitting in a chair. "How are you feeling?"

Ace adjusted his glasses that were falling off and smiled, "Go."

"I'm not sure. She ever told me how well she knew Macha. Just that they had to watch their friend……….never mind. That is a depressing subject that I don't want to think about."

Macha squeezed his hand. “You sure?”

Peter licked his chapped lips. "Groggy.." he spoke slowly, his slate blue eyes glassy and drowsy.

"Imagine what the rest of the years going to be like then…" He said, the thought pulling a small smile to his lips.

Dani sighed. "Oh goodness I hope it's not always like this. I mean I've almost died like six times this week already."

Sabine smiled at Macha. "So that's Ace I'm guessing?"

Macha blushed. “Mayyyybe.”, she mumbled.

Sabine laughed. "I'm happy that you're happy. Even if he's, y'know, in the hospital wing right now. And you look great, by the way. When did you loose your stone skin?"
