Sabine wandered the hospital halls till she spotted Macha and Ace. But they were talking, so she just leaned against the doorframe quietly.

Blake didn't realize Frankie has fallen asleep at first, but as soon as he did he gently pulled the blanket over her as well, curling around her protectively. He tentatively draped his injured wing over her body and after a few moments, he was fast asleep as well, blissfully unaware the fact he was going to be put back under in ten minutes anyways for a procedure to patch his wings with magic.

Macha brought a hand up and studied it, mystified. “It feels so strange, having soft skin..”, she murmured.

"I like it." Ace pressed a kiss to Macha's shoulder, "It's so soft."

Macha blushed. “I can feel everything with so much more detail now and— and I can blush.”

"You can blush! Do you know what that means?" Ace grinned, "I can tell when you're embarrassed." he pulled Macha close and kissed her neck.

He kissed her chin and her cheek and her forehead before settling on her lips.

Sabine knocked softly on the door frame, not wanting to interrupt but feeling uncomfortable intruding.
