“Don’t worry, I’ve got it. You just sit there and look pretty,” Bastian chuckled before waving Cas over. He paid for their food before finishing the rest of his bourbon

Corbin bit at the inside of his cheek, glancing away from Bastian. He reached down, giving Orion a quick scratch before his hands rested back on his lap.

“Ready to go?” Bastian asked, setting his empty glass aside while he stretched. For his first date in a while, he thought it had gone pretty well

“Yeah, I’m ready to go,” Corbin answered. He got up, leaning against his crutch now. He picked up Orion’s leash, who jumped to his feet.

(sorry, I went to get food)

Bastian nodded, getting to his feet and offering his hand to Corbin. He quickly dropped it when he realized he was using his crutch instead

Corbin had glanced at Bastian’s hand, but still leaned against his crutch. He thought of something, reaching into his pocket and taking out his wallet. He took out a few bills before dropping them into the table for a tip.

Bastian glanced over at him. Well, that was definitely a nice thing to do. It would certainly put Cas in a good mood since the poor guy almost never got tips. He began to make his way towards the door, holding it open for Corbin when he got there

Corbin thanked Bastian when he opened the door for him, walking outside. Orion’s tail wagged as he began to sniff around on the ground, stopping every once in a while.

Bastian walked a bit slower, keeping pace with Corbin. A strange thought eventually crossed his mind. He was almost never this nice to people. He glanced over at Corbin, a sort of unreadable expression on his face

“I can tell that you don’t do this often,” Corbin spoke up after catching Bastian’s eye. He had a soft frown on his face as he took a moment to glance Bastian over.

"Don't do what often? If you're talking about dates, then please, I've gone on plenty," Bastian lied. He rarely ever dated, especially not after he tried dating a sweet little guy named Luno and ended up accidentally breaking his heart

(Okay I don’t know anything about Luno but that name just sounds precious)

Corbin shrugged his shoulders a bit. “I was talking about dating. To me you seem like the hookup type,” he hummed.

(yeah he's a sweet dream demon who was abused a lot and he lived with Bastian for a while. Bastian protected him and when Luno said he loved him Bastian freaked out bc he didn't wanna hurt him)

"I am the hookup type, yeah. Doesn't mean that I haven't gone on dates before. It's just…It's just been a while," Bastian admitted, shrugging his shoulders with a small, awkward chuckle

(Oh my god, poor baby I love him already. And I’m also wondering if I should have Corbin aware of like magic stuff because he’s in Lucy’s story so he kind of knows her but is like Oliver’s best friend so he knows about that stuff??? But idk what to do for this rp)

“I understand that,” Corbin said slowly. “But just to let you know, if all you’re looking to get out of this is sex after one or two dates, and that’s all, then I probably won’t call you back.”

(having him know about magic already would definitely make Bastian's life easier lol. and yeah Luno is a precious space bby)

Bastian bit the inside of his cheek as he stopped just before they got to the car. "Listen, I was drunk, okay? Yeah, when I'm drunk the only thing on my mind is sex and partying, but I'm actually making an effort here. I don't know why, or if you're even worth it, but I'm trying. You know the last time I went on a date? It was almost five years ago. So don't give me your 'better than me' shit, because I already know you are and I'm trying. Okay?"

(Alright, I’ll do that then. And aw now I want to do an rp with Luno)

“Hey, man, I’m not saying I’m better than you. What you did last night were my first impressions of you, so I think I had the right to assume some things,” Corbin said, a slight edge in his tone. His arms crossed as he leaned against the passenger side door, Orion looking up at him.

(well if you want we could figure something out with Luno?)

"Yeah, well. Assumptions are a bitch," Bastian said with a bit of bitterness. "You should consider yourself lucky. Normally I would have just gotten in your pants and left, but you seem like a decent guy. And honestly? I have no idea why I'm bothering. But I am, which should kind of help with your bad first impression."

(Yesss please)

Corbin simply scoffed in response, shaking his head to himself. As much as he hated Bastian’s attitude at the moment, he did like that Bastian talked back a bit. That was something that most people didn’t do to him.

(oof uhhh okay, time to think of something for an rp lol)

"What now? Is the big bad army boy not used to someone talking back?" Bastian tutted, his voice taking on a slight edge. "Well get used to it, because if you like free food you're going to have to deal with it."

(Lmaooo yeet)

Corbin chuckled a bit, his brows raising. “Go on ahead, Bastian,” he hummed. He wouldn’t admit it at the moment, but getting bossed around was something like a slight turn on for him.

Bastian opened his mouth to keep going, but he stopped for a moment. He gave Corbin’s mind a slight nudge, nothing he would notice. Well god damn. He was getting off on this? Well who was he to dissapoint? “You know, it’s kind of a dick move to say that all I want is sex. Do you know how hard it is for me to actually go on dates and shit? It’s difficult!”

“I don’t understand how it could be so difficult,” Corbin hummed, subconsciously licking his lips. His fingers tapped the hood of the car, Orion giving what could have been an impatient whine.

“Well, sir high and goddamn mighty, I don’t see the point in dating. At least I’m just getting the good stuff from someone, but I wouldn’t expect your poor ass to understand that,” Bastian continued. If he kept going like this, maybe he’d get lucky and rile Corbin up enough to finally get to sleep with him

“That is absolutely ridiculous,” Corbin scoffed, shaking his head a bit. He reached up to run a hand through his messy hair, thinking for a moment that he needed to get it cut.

"No, you know what's absolutely ridiculous? This," Bastian said, giving no warning as he suddenly pressed their lips together. He kept it chaste, or about as chaste as someone like him could

Corbin’s breath caught in the back of his throat, and his lips parted slightly in suprise. He wouldn’t admit it, but the argument had made him just a tiny bit aroused, so he wasn’t exactly jerking away from Bastian. He did pull back, though.

Bastian pulled away after taking a moment to run his tongue across Corbin's lower lip, smirking a bit triumphantly afterwards. He could tell that Corbin had enjoyed himself, which made him feel a bit smug. "How about you get in the car?" he hummed

Corbin gave Bastain a look before complying, opening the passenger side door. He let Orion climb in and go into the back before he got into the car.

Bastian slid into the car after him. He was still smiling since he couldn't really help it. Poor Corbin looked like he was about to punch him in the mouth, but the guy had no idea he could read minds

Corbin shut the door and put his seat belt on. He paused for a moment, reaching back to give Orion a pet before adjusting his shirt a bit.
