Ok lemme just rant for a minute
So my mom went to see the movie eighth graders yesterday and I asked her how it was this morning and she said it was talking about this girl who would make herself look great st home and stuff but she didn’t.have any friends or anything and it ended hopefully. And I want to know why it didn’t portray the eighth grade that I and lots of other people are going through. The sudicidal thoughts. struggling to identify yourself. The only constant thing in your life being your friends. Of course the girl in the movie had loving parents that let her do whatever she wanted which is not a reality for most people. Also it didn’t talk about the stress of having to deal with all this stuff on top of all the homework and exams in eighth grade. So yeah

I'm in eighth grade too. I haven't see the movie, but I agree with what you are saying.

not to mention the movie was made by a middle aged man who knows nothing about an eighth grade girls life experiences.

Oh Sh?!. I was messing with this dude, you know taking his water bottle, and I handed it to Elias. He grabbed Elias by the shirt collar, and the admin, came over. He was like is this between you two pointing to Elias and the dude, and the one we kept taking the water bottle from, was like no, but Elias was louder and he was like YES IT WAS BETWEEN ME AND HIM. He freaking covered for me, and he's talking to admin now…. I feel so bad…..
