(Yeah!)
(Yeah!)
(Now where did Ty run off to?)
(I don't know. Should we continue without him?)
(Sure!)
(Whoop! Whoop!)
Lillian was waiting outside the house as the other girls rans to go and get Belle.
There was a familiar pounding on the door. "Rise and shine sweetheart! We got one hour let's go!" "Alright, alright I'm coming!" She laughed at Jessie's enthusiasm. She ran upstairs, grabbed her things and bolted out the door. Stood there was Jessie, Valerie, Nikki, Calli, Lexa, Miranda, and Lillian.
Lillian was grinning and laughing, "Come on let's go! We got stuff to do!"
"I'm coming, hold your damn horses." She laughed, draping her dress bag over one arm and her makeup bag over the other. Jessie was practically bouncing on her toes as she grabbed her wrist and started dragging her down the street.
~~
She threw open the door to her own house and in the living room was the preparation room. 7 mini vanities and mirrors and plenty of lights, music, and hair supplies like curling irons and hairspray to go around. "Bedrooms are upstairs when you get changed. Let's get this party started!"
Lillian looked around the room, "Dang did you raid the backstage area to get this stuff? Or do you just keep this lying around?"
"Sweetheart I don't even go to this school! I'm in law school in college!" Jessie laughed. "I just keep this around since I'm getting a minor in cosmetology so I can be a makeup artist if I can't be a lawyer."
Lillian laughed a little, "Oh yeah. Forgot that bit."
"Welp, pick a vanity and let's get started!" The girls instantly spread out, each picking one and turning on some music. "Welcome to my friends, they're insane." Belle laughed, starting on her own makeup look. "I haven't worn makeup in how long? This is going to be an event."
Lillian laughed as she sat at the vanity next to Belle, "Last time for me was the school play, and I didn't do it. So this is going to be an absolute disaster."
"I did crew, I wouldn't know." She shrugged. "Where the hell is my reference? I had an image all picked out cause lord knows I need it." She swiped through her phone until she landed on a picture. "Got it!" She put her phone down and started on her work.
Lillian looked at the phone, "Damn that's smart. I'm just going to wing it, if it sucks I go natural, if it doesn't I wear it."
"I'm not as smart as I look, I swear." She giggled.
(Just as a reminder, this is her outfit I THINK I GOT THE LINK RIGHT WE'LL SEE.)
Lillian laughed as she grabbed some concealer (I'm using my lack of beauty knowledge on Lillian lol), "Well you look pretty fucking smart right about now."
(YES YOU DID!)
(THANK FUCK I FINALLY GOT IT.)
"Why thank you m'lady." She smiled, sorting through her bag for her bronzer. "I decided that it'd be smart to give myself a jawline for tonight so that's what I'm going for."
"Don't use beauty terms with me, goes right over my head," Lillian said as she rummaged around.
"I'm trying here!" She laughed. "I also never wear red lipstick, even less so a deep red color like this so that's gonna be interesting." She worked on her eyeshadow and eyeliner with the same precision as she did with her drawing.
Lillian took a break to look at herself, she was a mess. She sighed, "When your done can you help me? Cause fuck makeup and shit."
"Of course! I'd be happy to." She took a break to check everything. "Wings so sharp they could a man." She chuckled, fixing her eyeliner before starting on the other eye.
Lillian grinned and reached for the make up remover, just so she was completely bare.
"And now for the hardest part. Fucking lipstick I'm always bad at this! But I shall try once more to get this right." She leaned close to the mirror, starting with a lip liner before going in with the actual lipstick. "I like the color. I really do. Kind of like a deep wine, it's nice. Can you tell I'm nervous? I always get super talkative when I'm nervous." She giggled.
Lillian laughed a little as she rubbed her neck, "I can tell. Everything's going to be okay, it's just prom right? Not that it matters except it's supposedly most important day of our high school lives or some shit."
"I know, I know! I'm just like…what are people gonna think?" She pulled away from the mirror, successful in her attempt to perfect her lipstick. "You know, what are they gonna think about me being engaged, that's not something that happens every day!"
(Btw, the ring in the picture is her engagement ring.)
(Coolio.)
Lillian looked at her with a grin, "It isn't. Your a lucky girl Belle, really lucky."
